  • It's a very *Polished* game.

    Ba Dum Tss!

  • damn,i remember this :)

  • This is the best game of all time. God bless the good people from CD Projekt Red. We're forever grateful to you for giving us this magnificent piece of art.

  • Polish Can

  • best RPG game i ever played <3

  • Roloooononon! que buena cancion, this is really a great song, one of the best of th OST

  • Can't get enough of this song for some reason.

  • Best polish game.

  • I don't like the Witcher as a game, byt this soundtrack... is... just... awesome...

  • @krupam0 did u finished the Witcher 1, bcoz at starting the game was bad but later part of the game is awesome.

  • @CJ2GAME

Not really, I got just pissed of by combat system(I know, it looks cool, but it's still stupid clicking of one/two buttons), by "very interesting side quests" relying on killing 87546351 monsters for a few gold, making a playboy from the main hero, locked world with "awesome fauna" consisting of wolves and undead phantoms, too strong focus on graphics(why any of game makers don't know, that graphics isn't thing, that I care about in games?), 90% of women being whores etc...

  • @krupam0 well, fist of all, Wither has a great story, u have to finishe it to get to know that. & Also the story is totally influenced by ur choice in the game. Ur every action will influence the later part of the game. The last chapter of the game Celina & Elina has the best story, & was the best memorable moment for me. I finished total 135 games so I have quite an experience about gaming & I am telling u. Witcher 1 was a great game. & fighting mechanics can be excuse by great music & story.

  • I feel..nostalgia?

  • 2 people got conjured orgasms.

  • I think The Witcher 1 had better music that the second part

  • This is better than any relaxation song. And makes me dream awake. Simply and amazingly beautiful. <3

  • Guys do I need to play the first one to enjoy witcher 2?? I know the developers said the one dont really have to play the first one, but I need your opinion who played the first one what do u think?

Btw, I dont really wanna play 40+ hours for first one and then play thesame amount for Witcher 2..dont have that much time but still mite do it if that really makes a difference.

  • @lucky88shp You can still understand Witcher 2 if you haven't played the first one, but if you have the time play the first one, too. It helps appreciate how much the developers improved the sequel and get a better feel for the world itself rather than the continuing story.

  • @lucky88shp I think the first one is a lot better than the second,so I recommend playing it.

  • @Ancrestor can I ask why? I'm planning on getting the witcher 2 and I'm playing through witcher one currently. It's awesome. How is the second game not as good?

  • @elppa284 well, the second one is awesome too,it just isn't as good as the first, but most people like it better than the first.

My problem is with TW2 that its short(half as long as the first),it is easy and the story isn't as good.

But I definitely recommend the second,it is a great game, just somewhat boring compared to the first.

  • @Ancrestor

    Agree.

Still it was enough to wash the taste of dragon age 2 from my mouth.

Here is to hoping the third is longer.

  • @elppa284 I agree with Ancrestor that the first one is better..... it's got more humour, more and better music, more numerous & more interesting locations, more different monsters, more quests, clearer interface... and, IDK, is generally more "fun". Still many people seem to like TW2 better so it is up to you to play both and see :)

  • @fikujez I enjoyed the second game, cause I read the books and understood most of its aspects which foreigners probably will not. It was very fun to play yet it had flaws which Witcher 1 lacked. First of all - too much political stuff, people who don't know too much about the world in Witcher won't fully understand the consequences of their choices. There are also references to our political mess in Poland. Second - Not many side quests. Third - Witcher 1 had this awesome act in the countryside.

  • @leniuch A relaxation from the main quest. The riverside, this magical city on the water that disappears, the village. Witcher 2 was all about the main events. Still, if it goes for the choices you can make Witcher 2 beats all the games till now. Four, music in W1 is way better but Witcher 2 still is has some good tracks. And last but not least - Witcher 1 was way longer than the sequel. CDP Red are at least thinking about an expansion (not a DLC, YES!) , that's nice.graphics of the forest=epic.

  • WOW I LOVE THE WITCHER!!!

  • Oh my gosh, this song really blows me away. So, delightfull to listen to. Actually, I don't have any proper words to describe this.

  • Dobre bo Polskie, w końcu ten termin ma znaczenie:)

  • po prostu zajebiste..

  • Loved this tune so much in the original game that I hung around Triss's house just to listen to it... honest! :)

  • best rpg EVER

Chuj was to obchodzi.

  • @r3tr4d niektorzy maja niesprawne myszki lub problemy ze wzrokiem

  • Listen to the soundtrack is a peaceful moment...

  • You guys ever finish the first Witcher? I see the second one coming out and while I liked the music and the way the first one started I never finished the game because the load times were insane and the crashes were frustrating. I got the patch and the load times are still 10 years.

  • @HybridEnergy Well, after the patch, the game work much better...

btw, I ended the game 5 times and I'm gonna do it once more, cause it will be able to load your game from the Witche 1!

  • @HybridEnergy Loading takes years? Buy computer whic is not from medieval ages.

  • @szewc0svd

Guess a Quad core and 8 gigs of ram isn't enough to load it properly :( . When the game came out with load issues I was running 4 gigs of ram and a 3.2ghz x2 dual core and for THAT TIME that was a fantastic computer. So I don't know what the heck you are trying to tell me but I am pretty sure the load time issue was with the optimization and programming of the game. I heard the "enhanced edition" maybe fixed it but by than I wasn't interested in the game anymore.

  • @HybridEnergy Hah, for some reason I really like replying to you. You should definetely try playing through TW1 again, I had some performance issues as well couple years back and gave up, but came back recently and... what a RPG! The game isn't too well optimized and it wasn't meant to be AAA game anyway, but it is still an amazing experience playing through the game at least once, you won't regret it.

  • @4shey

Maybe I will but the devs of Witcher really lost out on a lot of gamers. With Dead Space 2 still for me to finish. Always playing SC2. DA2 on the horizon. I don't really have the time or patience anymore for Witcher and if I don't play through the first game I won't bother with the second. It annoyed me because I love the music and atmosphere. No surprise about the music obviously, they are Polish. Everyone there is epic in musical talent.

  • da2 and tw2.....which is better?

  • @goldlion217

    TW2 by far.

DA1 isn't even one fifth as good as The Witcher.

  • It's a matter of personal opinion. Both DA:O and TW are great games, while DA offers more in terms of replayability (different classes, races, origins, character creator etc.) TW has much deeper story and darker atmosphere. As for the sequels DA2 will be focused more towards consoles and therefore made"more accessible" in terms of controls and difficulty, graphics limited by console hardware. TW2 is being developed primarily on PC and hopefuly won't have any of those limitations.

  • @4shey

Those are rumors that have been proven false in interviews by bioware about DA2. DA2 is still developed primarily as a PC game and only has difficulty changes for the console because people complained about the difficulty on the console for DA:O. The difficulties will be slightly different for PC. DA2 just like all bioware games will still be best on PC.

  • @HybridEnergy You can't really rely on pre-release interviews, of course they will say that since they don't want to turn down potential buyers. However do I hope what you say will be true, I really do - I guess only way to be 100% sure is to wait for reviews & gameplay vids after release. For me the main selling point of DA:O was that it felt and played like an oldschool RPG while DA2's action gameplay leaves me disappointed so far. But we'll see how it turns out...

  • @4shey

Actually since there are now 2 videos leaked out of the making of the game from the special edition it seems that they maybe catering to the noob gadget consoles a bit more. Sad times :(

  • @goldlion217

Umm stupid question. Dragon Age completely owns The Witcher series.

  • Did witcher ever hit the 360 console? I heard rumors that they were gonna make it for the Xbox360, but have never seen it hit the streets, unless I missed it!!!!!

  • yeah witcher was my favourite book and now it's my faovourite game

  • I can't wait for the next witcher to come out.

  • fajna muzyka najbardziej mi się podobał ten utwór z wiedżmina

  • Witcher forever... it's one of those games I probably will remember my whole life, like some great books and movies...

  • nice game. nice soundtrack.

  • Fantastic song . ( - ;

  • this soundtrack was made with Omnisphere and others i recognize the instruments sound!! i have them too...i wish i can compose songs like this *_*

  • Awesome music, this game really has one of the greatest game soundtracks.

  • What is the music from "the fields" area?

  • The tune to listen too if you want to forget about everythine else for a moment or two

  • does anyone know any composers which create the same type of music

Or what this genre of classical is called :) thank you

  • I did Witcher Medallion of clay and I am doing his casts. Medallion is rare so I am going to sell them.

  • All hail Adam Skorupa and Pawel Blaszczak. They still know how to make good music for a game.

  • This song is fairest from whole Witcher..!

  • 4:33... it almost makes me cry!

  • BEST!

  • Fantastic. ; )

  • I have all of the books:) I love The witcher it's the best thing i ever sew, played and read :-)

  • yeah , my books will arrive on 17 dec :O , the two english versions

  • @matei132

i envy you... i tried to get my paws on a copy of "the last wish" (in english) but didn't succed. i will keep trying! with youtube as my witness, i will keep trying to get a copy of these books in english! (instead of spanish... )

  • Hm, are only Sword of Destiny and The Last Wish translated ?

  • Its great game, but books are much better :)

  • 4:33 :P

  • Awesome game...loved everything in the game...

I havent read the books, can someone send me the link to one of the ebooks???

  • OMG MY FAVORITE SONG. This plays in trade quarter of Vizima I believe. LONG LIVE WITCHERRR!!!

  • The best game ever cause its story has no childish content and a lot of blood in it :)

  • Witcher is my favorite game ever! This song is really beautiful. Go Witcher 2! :D

  • I'm only seeing the best games coming from Europe at the moment. STALKER, The Witcher, ANNO 1404, etc...

  • STALKER and the Witcher were the two best games on the PC since Half Life 2 tbh.

  • Witcher is my favourite game and Stalker:Shoc is my second favourite game. Pity that Clear Sky wasn't so good. Hope the Witcher: Assassin's of Kings will be as good as the first Witcher.

  • @xwlr or even better!!!

  • absolutly truth

  • @SYST3MSHOCK

    ++100

Agreed on both. STALKER is amazing in every way and the Witcher is so awesome there are few words to describe it.

  • @SYST3MSHOCK yeah theyre actualy worth playing.

  • @SYST3MSHOCK and Metro 2033

  • @SYST3MSHOCK word dude word!!! we have the same taste, stalker and witcher FTW.

  • @SYST3MSHOCK please dont forget Elder Scrolls :)

  • i definitely want to get the book, ive heard so much about it hopefully its as good as the game =)

  • As for me - books were definately better than game. I don't say, that the game is stupid :D it's great also. But The Witcher books compleatly kills Lord of the Rings, or even Harry Potter...

  • wow sounds awesome, i gotta get it sometime.

  • Loved the book.

    Loved the game.

  • davvero belle le canzoni di The Witcher praticamente allo stesso livello di quelle di Gothic 3 se non + belle per certi tratti...

  • questa musica è totalmente relax. . bello

  • Ah Vizma trade district I know thee well. Great atmosphere for a great game

  • With this song in front of an open fire and some chocolate to drink it would be the best peaceful moment ever

  • Absolutely great! The Witcher is the best game I´ve ever played and it´s a shame that the soundtrack isn´t off-shelf!!

  • Comment removed

  • f*cking best game

  • By far the best song on the soundtrack.

  • Peaceful moments indeed

  • well, this is a linear RPG.. I didn't think that it could work.. but I guess linearity is the only thing that has been missing from modern RPGs the whole time! It was like I was reading the book again.. with a new story.. GREAT WORK

  • This by far - leaps and bounds the best rpg or shall I say the best game I have played - deep story, so much of POWER in one's hands , great characters, memorable scenes and haunting music did I say innovative deeply satisfying combat..Can u ask for more..Wat a game, dont know if any of u played a game by the name of Mafia on the PC , well this reminds me of tht, well in terms of great experience I meant, both werr phenomenal..!!!

  • Yea, Mafia was indeed great game, involving story and lot of atmosphere that pulled player inside that world.

  • The game is great if you don't run through it like some do.

I played it for a week or two.. No hurry, not too much a day.

Greatest rpg game I have played. Every other unrealistic; baby fantasy or whatever ga,e looks like shit.

The author of the book must be very proud.. Everything made sense.

  • Love the music, though i think i'll have to buy a new laptop to run this, i may not even get it in the end, have you palyed the game? Is it like Oblivion, in any way, such as side quest for one big one?

  • yes,i play the game, but i change my video card for a good experience,if you like oblivion, this game surprise you for a memorable story, very very beautiful graphic, good song.I LOVE this game,I never played a game like this, this game transmit emotions, really, play this game!!!!this game has won the revelation of 2008 game.BUY THIS GAME!!!

  • yea the only thing that made this game not a masterpiec is its loading times now we have the enhanced addition thats what they should have don in the first place to get the reviews that they deserved for the actual game which is a 10 well hopefully the next time this company does a game they should fix it from the getgo I didnt know about the game till the enhanced version came out because they said this is the game that should have bee a year ago.

  • @Lona90Bs Dude, you should seriously read the books, the storys in the books are way better than the game^^

  • @Lona90Bs well, I played this game for a few hours and I got disappointed a bit. I'm a fan of RPGs like Oblivion, but I have to say that is is different: The atmosphere is not as good as in Oblivion, because there is no open world. Everything is scripted, there are fences and lakes everywhere (and you CAN'T jump over / swim through it -.-). The whole world feels scripted somehow, so you won't get this feeling of Oblivion.

But its a rough and dark world with nice fights and skill tree! Good game

  • Oblivion would be a bad comparison in terms of structure.

The Witcher follows a main quest, with many branching side quests that much is true. But the game is split into seperate chapters, within each one you play through a different region. So it progresses more like the Sci-Fi game 'Deus Ex' if you've ever played that.

  • I've played both The Witcher and Oblivion, but couldn't play Oblivion after a week or so. The characters just seemed so dull and synthetic compared to the people you meet in The Witcher. You don't have as much freedom of movement to go anywhre you please, but it doesn't seem to matter, because there's no reason you would WANT to go there. Great game. Reminiscent of Baldurs Gate 1&2 for PC.

  • as well as Planescape: Torment if I might add.

  • @astaroth99 In my view this is much better than Oblivion. Its fast-paced, mature with a tightly knit story-line.

  • @astaroth99 The best game ever. But in game are broad hint to polish culture and politics. Foreigner never fully take in this game.
