matter of preference. personally i like the crackle you get from the teeth inside of the cherry bomb glass pack when you get on the gas and as you back off. it also gives you a nice quiet, deep rumble when lightly accelerating. the flowmaster is just down right aggressive and loud and doesn't have the crack sound.

for everyone that wrote "its not the sound, its about the performance factor" i definitely agree, its for performance not sound, BUT if they do the same for your car/truck/suv and u have both u might as well choose what sounds best. and i think with ur jeep the Flowmaster has more of a muffled sound compared to the Cherry Bombs, (it sounds like u have an exhaust leak with ur jeep). my opinion, if u have a big block flowmaster, for small block like urs, Cherry Bombs sound more "crisp" definitely.

I'll say this, glasspacks sound good on 8 cylinders. If you put a glasspack on a 4 or 6 cylinder it sounds like a rice burner. Then again, if you put a flowmaster Super 40 or Super 44 on an L6 engine (like my XJ's) or L4 it sounds much better than a glasspack

it really depends on what size engine you have...I have a 95 f150 5.8l 351 and i have the flowmaster on it. i think it sounds really good and i still have both cats on it. Im thinking about cutting the rear cat off thought to make it sound beefier

Well personal i believe the flowmaster did sound very nice...but glasspacks sounds amazing plus you will get better gas millage. Oh and by the way when you are trying to make a video about a aggresive mufflers and cars shoot for better music.

Try a 10 series flowmaster, either dumped or out the back with a nice tip, gp sound good with no cat and nice tip to. Just depends on the sound ya want, gp have a nice bass note and a distinctive crackle when ya let off the gas but the fm have that throaty rumble that catches everyone's ear....unless you go straight pipe with no cat and 3.50 inch tip like I did to my 4.0 ranger then everyone in the neighborhood notices ya lol

I'm not convinced this video is helpful. Epecially with the music going. I have a Flowmaster on a Jeep 4.2 I6 with Borla Headers. Sounds like someone shaking an aluminum can full of ball bearings inside the Jeep. Very disappointing! Even the exhaust guy who put it on was surprised at how quiet the actual muffler was! I'm switching to the Cherrybomb Extreme, and selling the Flowmaster 40 on Ebay if anyone's interested. Make your purchase carefully!

@MvZiCMaN Actually your wrong. Flowmaster makes the most drone prone mufflers on the market and there the worst performing muffler in comparison to all other brands. Ive seen cases where people weld them in the stockers location, and the stock muffler out performed Slowmaster. Learn facts before you go to the muffler shop and have a tech tell you there the best things in the world. Thanks.

well the flowmaster sounds better outside but then again you had the camera closer to it. I think the cherry bomb sounds a little better inside. and you have to take in consideration cherry bomb glasspack you just cut your muffler off and put it on with clamps or weld it. And the flowmaster is a whole exhaust system. so its gonna sound a little better cause cherry bomb is on your stock system and flowmaster changes the whole stock system

Surjat15, A cherry bomb is a mufler you will need to cut the old muffler off and replace it with the cherry bomb, you can leave it at that or add pipe to finish it out... For the video i cant tell exactly but i like flows but it sounds a little ricey from inside could be just me, but from outside i would go with flows
