Sorry...I don't have time to read all 7 pages of comments right now, but what was going on in the part just before he said, "Only an FJ baby"? It was actually kind of embarrassing as an FJ owner. Did you even have it in 4WD? It seemed like you were revving and revving it and it just wasn't able to do the task, and yet I know that mine, in 4WD and in lo (and maybe the rear locker) would have rolled right up that with no revving what so ever.
You still have the FJ? How are those tire holding up? I am about to do the exact same thing to mine except idk if I want to go with the Nitto trail grapplers or the KM2's. And what size tire are you running?
My favorite part was when the driver said "hey man, spot me too" and the video guy just sat there and said nothing when he was bottom out........Putz. Sweet f'n ride though, that 3" lift looks sweet, Im gonna do the same in the next couple months.
@spaghetticat3 ya the fj's with optional off road package have lockers, all i was saying is if it was locked up both front wheels would be spinning at one time, not just one wheel but maybe the locker wasn't engaged. they are a very good stock off road vechicle....
@spaghetticat3 o ya i run a cherokee sport, not stock, plus i would hate to scratch and dent something like a fj..... i like jeeps because you can build them for your personal needs and do it fairly cheap and scratches just add character lol mine has 240000 with factory 4.0 and still going strong
@rumswigger hell ive got scratches every where ive got the ome lift on it and 32 firestone MTs and i just busted out my back window cause i was pullin somebody out of a hole and the cable snapped
@conroyz28 No,, 265/75/16 is a 32" do the math (31.65" which rounds up to 32") All FJ's come with 32" stock, only difference is tread and wheel size (16" or 17").
@conroyz28 if you measure it its 30.5 and i just bought 285/75/r16 and that is suppossed to be a 33 and it is barley over 32 but yet they say the overall diameter is 33.1 i dont know what kind of tape measure their useing any know whats up with that?
@conroyz28 265/70/16 is a 31. because thats the size on my 4Runner and those are 31s. 265/75/16 is in fact a 32. you have to round up and depending on the tread depth they will be even closer to 32. and btw my Toyota dealer installs a "Badlands" edition package that puts on the toytec lift, 33" bfg muds, arb bumpers, and an arb roof rack so you could say 33s stock if thats how you bought it brand new from the dealer

Any fj that is trd will come stock with 33s.mine is black with white top and has the bfg's stock and it goes thru more then a buddys jeep with 36s great vid man
@conroyz28 FJ's come with 32's... a 265/75/16 is a 32" tire i will bet you everything i own and come to your house to prove it to you if you do not believe me.
i got the same TT, just put on the toytec coilovers with the bilstein 5100s, but i still got the stock 31's on mine. Are those the 33's ....looks good

conroyz28......stock FJs do come with 31 inch tires but MY FJ is a T R D with 33 inch BFG from the factory.

The 2007 TRD (AllBlack) comes with 265/75/r16 the 2008 TRD trails team comes with the same. 265/75/16 is a 31 inch tire my friend..
