that was a pellet gun, not a real gun - the pellet could have been travelling at 200m/s or 150m/s or 100m/s... in case of 200m/s if the distance was 15 meters he had 0.1 s to do it (sure if you divide the two you get 0.075 but don't forget that the bullet will slowdown ). obviosuly he had twice the time if it was at 100m/s so 0.2sec. ohhh and the pellet was shot at a target and he merely had to move the katana to the preditermined location

@kerimil Ok so even at 0.2 of a second you aren't calling this much of an acheivement? It takes a human being over 0.1 seconds just to blink. Also the pellet is probably a maximum of 5mm which would also move about in the air as it is a lot harder to rifle a pellet than a bullet and the thickness of a katana is thin. I bet you wouldnt be able to cut it in half even with it tied down

apparently there is something you don't understand... it doesn't even matter how much time it took for the pellet to travel to that asian guy as he wasn't even trying to conciously hit it... he merely had to move the katana to a preditermined position - that's all.. .a couple of tries + a good shooter and it will eventually happen

to be honest I am more impressed by the guy who shot the pellet exectly where it was needed... not that asian guy playing with katanas..

@kerimil OK i'll give you that but like I said a pellet doesn't fly straight so no matter how good the shot is he's always making adjustments that 99.9% of people don't even have the capacity to do without luck. Also have you seen the any of the full videos of the guy? He hits it with ridiculous consistancy, as well as plenty of other party tricks (granted a lot of them most people with talent and a good amount of training with a katana could do)
