@fukinsixandtoo The more I review your recommendations the more it seems you didn't. The problem here seems to be nothing more then prima facie, but treatable. You're using Utopia pejoratively to indicate perfection. Perfection is only a concept, which is unachievable. All your recommendations have one thing in common, stating opinion based on cultured ideals and values. Where is the referent to what is evidently true and tangible and real? Who cares about their opinions or yours or mine?

Slightly incorrect. Yes, environment leads to the introduction of addiction, but a genetic disposition, like ADHD (or even family history), can increase the want for addiction. That, and there are genetic dispositions that can affect how one thinks, and rationalize, again ADHD.

I enjoy these videos and I agree with maybe 90% of what they say. I think they are dead wrong in giving way too much to the nurture side, and way too little to the nature side of our condition. Of course, we are not all completely programmed robots. But there are genetic parameters beyond which we simpy cannot go...without changing the genetics. We are animals, after all.

There are a great many learned, cognitive biases that people have acquire in the environment that will prevent people from even listening to this info. Ex of bias thought: How dare this person say this. He is going against god and country.

Does this negate the info? No

These are learned biases that thwart further analysis and it's impt. for people to recognize this in order to actually listen, apply existing knowledge/research to verify or discredit the info.

Also, I love the example used for the psychology of someone brought up in a ruling class environment. I wish I would see more examples of the exact thought processes had by people in their individually differing environments living throughout their life; in fact, that's probably the best way to learn about social reality.

It's for their own good b/c they're too uneducated an ill bread to take responsibility for themselves.

It is survival of the fittest; natural selection.

Both are competively and ego driven, simplified notions of misunderstandings of evolution.

But I will say this: Peter Joseph, Jacque Fresco, and Roxanne Meadows are the most "logical and rational minded" people I've ever encountered in regard to "solutions", and I've done exhausting research. They've mastered how to keep "ego and competition driven ideology" from hindering their logic.

Rational solutions. Beneficiary of the solutions? The entire planet.
