My problems isn't with the idea of feminism (which is equality between genders) but with the reality of feminism (which is female supremacy and preferential treatment). Why only help battered wives? Why not help battered husbands? Why not protect men from psychologically manipulative and abusive women the same way we help women from physically abusive men? Why do female victims get nearly 100% of the exposure while male victims of the same crimes are denounced and hidden from the public eye?

Stereotypes and cultural expectations influence underreporting by men, but that's why there are efforts to break those stereotypes and cultural expectations. These efforts are mainly carried out by feminists - PAVE, for example. Hating on feminism won't help this get better.

It goes both ways, I also find that women often call men boys. This happens to myself on occasion (I'm 35 and married with a child and a business) I also find it highly offensive. Most people support idea of women's shelters etc. Not all women's groups r feminist. Some women just like being with those who have similar interests who can be their friends. It's more about comfort.

My problems isn't with the idea of feminism (which is equality between genders) but with the reality of feminism (which is female supremacy and preferential treatment). Why only help battered wives? Why not help battered husbands? Why not protect men from psychologically manipulative and abusive women the same way we help women from physically abusive men? Why do female victims get nearly 100% of the exposure while male victims of the same crimes are denounced and hidden from the public eye?

Stereotypes and cultural expectations influence underreporting by men, but that's why there are efforts to break those stereotypes and cultural expectations. I don't belive women should be excluded from working. I belive they should be hired on merrit and not because of a quota. It goes both ways, I also find that women often call men boys. This happens to myself on occasion (I'm 35 and married with a child and a business) I also find it highly offensive. I can see it as a form of sexism is some cases but also a fear of accepting adulthood as well, both your own and the person your demeaning. I hope you don’t think it’s only women who have to put up with being insulted in this way.

People get wrongly accused of all sorts of crimes. Most rapes go unreported. Saying that women have more rights than men because rape accusations are taken seriously is about the most misogynistic thing I can think of.
