I wouldn't really consider that a mess up. If he'd sung the whole thing and kept going it would be, but it almost seems more like Animal Collective ambiance than anything else.
my subwoofer's situated on the ground, so when the low bass note arrives in this song (on the album), it almost massages my leg. it's one of the best things i think i've ever experienced.
no one is making excuses. they are pointing out the irrelevance of the mistake. the band is great, the performance is good. you can't expect them to play it perfectly every single time. they aren't robots.
it also doesn't help that you look like a douche with that comment.
his singing is a little off, but whatever, they nail it later.
