  • @southernwoman2010 excuse me? what do ye mean by that? if it's a reply to some other comments, then place it as a reply comment. if it's meant to say that you're 50% irish, 25% German and 25% Japanese, then put an "I'm" in front of it, and at last but surely not least, if it had the meaning of what you mean about the song, it's just stupid >.< xD

  • @southernwoman2010

  • @androidresults True

  • right on bud, a fine song indeed. cheers to the heritage of the celts lads!!

  • @xlaym - I play by ear but it's not really hard to hear a I, II, IV, and V. (And their relative minors). I like the sound of a VII. At least I think that would be the right number (: In the Key of G, it would be an F. Gives a song a deeper feel.

  • Great Music. Thanks! :)

  • Proud to be from Lichtenstein one of the Celtic countries

  • Great song!

  • Thank god I have Irish blood in me.

    I mean like wow,

Is there anything NOT awesome about the Irish?

  • I love this type of music even though im manx

  • The Irish... a poor mans Scots.

  • @MrAmadaeus

Ireland conquered Scotland, not vice versa.

  • @AedenOC,aye then vice versa.

  • @MrAmadaeus

Definetley one of the most idiotic comments ive ever seen, what your saying is people are buying Irish and Scots? Way to take National pride and make yourself sound a fool

  • @MrAmadaeus why dont ya say that to an irishmans face, ya dress-wearin' piss-off!!!

  • helau´:-)

  • I love this song so much. Puts me in a great mood. Cant find it anywhere on itunes which is sad.

  • great song. by the way, i'm an american mutt english, irish, a touch of scotch and water

  • Fantastico

  • Does "Fagan" have any specific meaning in Ireland ? Because we use this word and it means "brat" or "bastard"

  • Comment removed

  • it's just a surname. if we want to say brat or bastard we say english

  • @Eternaldream00 It means "Villager" or "Of the village" As far as I know the name is the anglicised version of the Gaelic O' Faodhhagain. The ancient spelling is Fegan . Septs are Hagen and Regan. I know a few and calling them "brats " or "bastards". would not be a wise thing to do. Big lads.

  • Does anyone know the chords for this?

    Greta song!

  • G, C, D, Em, Am, Bm. all u need to play irish songs :p

  • @xlaym Most songs, period. ;)

  • theres hardly songs that use fancy chords (the best ones!!) most songs do not modulate but some use another key. usually i play songs in G or in A, its easier to sing.

and well, other keys can be trasposed...

the most important thing about irish music is its simplicity and FUN, thats why i love it!!

  • @xlaym - You forgot A (major). ("OF ME" in the chorus if you play it in G).

  • good point! i usually use Asus2 or Asus4, gives a smoother link to the following chord tho xD

  • @xlaym You forgot the good mood and a Guinness :D

  • @Pigerigu not to mention the beautiful lass at the end of the bar

  • Thanks for the shout, goat. The Christian Brothers of Ireland used to talk about Insurmountable Ignorance, which is so great it cannot be conquered by the use of reason.

That was before they all got arrested, of course.

But they never laid a hand on me; I was ugly, skinny, and on the track team.

  • hahaha track team for the win

  • I heard at a town meeting that Obama wants to prevent drunken, uneducated tools from posting on You Tube. WELL DONT JUST SIT THEIR, RIGHT YOUR KONGRESMAN!!! Signing off. now.

  • oi the four leaf clover is lucky you dumb bastard if your irish you should know this unless your drunk then you have a good reason for not knowin

  • LMAO Shit man I'm not Irish but i still know what it is! though it does help that my Birthday is St. Patrick's day for some reason that makes me honorary Irish to a lot of people odd.

  • Ah...isn't the shamrock a three-leaf clover, which Saint Patrick used to illustrate the concept of the Trinity to the pagan kings?

  • yeah this dude schooled you buggers.

    Me as well, incedently.

  • when i hear this,i just wanna step into a pub and start a song

  • fatsy pagan? whats wrong with a pagan? my friends a pagan. aint nothin wrong with him. Hes a normal person.

  • Sounds like they are smiling while singing.

  • this is a nice song

  • Long live Ireland! United and ONE!!!

  • Just dont reverse the first letters of the name! =D

  • Irish history , ah the medieval. Great days.

    Long Live Ireland!

  • Where did you get this information from, because I do not think it is true..

    they are pretty tolerant, actually.

  • There's a little dispute between the Irish and the English. But that's just between some. Not all. As a whole, I'd say they're pretty tolerant of all nationalities. I mean, Irish Immigrants even served in the American Civil War for both, the North AND the South.

  • That just prooves they can't make up their mind ;-)

    joke hihi

  • Smooth. Maybe they were sober when they got THAT idea. lol.

  • omg where can i get this song i cant seem to find it

  • It's right here..

  • if you're an atheist, how can you fuck god? isn't it a bit weird to fuck something/someone you don't believe he even exists??
