Its kind of funny to see people who claim to recognize the right of workers to organize getting all hysterical about a bill that simply beefs up enforcement of labor laws already on the books and guarantees workers the right to a speedy outcome of a bargaining agreement. If an employer doesn't have to recognize and negotiate with a newly formed union then what good are they.

The EFCA interferes with the relationship between employee and employer by using the coercive power of government. It imposes contracts between employer and employees. It is one more step towards tyranny, and one more step away from liberty.

Actually it isn't. It is privately owned by the two operating principals. The profit-sharing plan has been in place for almost 50 years and is entirely funded by the company based upon time in service and employee wages earned.

The reason is simple, these companies cannot bid on work while awating a federal arbitrator to determine their cost structure (i.e., labor costs).
