About 4:19, something about the facial expression -- I could almost see the ghost of Clapton in a big curly perm and wearing a silk ascot. But then, he's the least changed of the three.

Cream's best song. A bit rushed here; it's value was always the drag between Baker's drums and the bass line, a pondering thing, ominous. It's there in this rendition, but only in the bridges, very deliberately and boringly.
@noremorse The facts are Brian May is a public school boy wanker, that makes him middle class, Jacks voice is gone, Ginger is half way there and Eric has lost it, saw Cream live when they were The Cream, you need brain surgery....
@OldSkinsNeverDie so Brian May who was at the concert is a pathetic middle class wanker in your oppinion...hmm...i advice you to check your facts more carefully before making pointless statements...i wont comment your oppinion towards the sound witch i consider fantastic and beats all the original cream recordings....but if you dont 'see' the immense quantities of soul put together by all three musicians...then i strongly recommend you an ear surgery
@metlahead6 OH I UNDERSTAND IT MATE, NOTHIN WRONG WITH JACK BRUCE HE IS AS GOOD AS EVER, ERIC IN 68 WAS BRILLIANT BUT I HAVE SEEN HIM LIVE AND STILL SEE HIM NOW AS OVERRATED. IN 1994 YOU HAD GARY MOORE DOIN A PROJECT WITH JACK AND GINGER AND HIS PLAYIN IS WELL AHEAD OF ERIC. CLAPTON DONE A TRIBUTE TO GARY ON STILL GOT THE BLUES AND EVEN THO WAS ANICE TRIBUTE. LEFT THE SOLOS TO THE KEYBOARD.
@metlahead6 WOW!! THINK YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR SPELLING LOL. I LIKE EC MATE I WAS GIVING YOU A TRUE FACT THAT ERIC NOW IS NOT IN THE SAME CLASS AS MOORE, BECK, SRV!!!
@gibson492 I really have a strong impression you're sending me these messages from a dark 3x3m room with no windows filled with bodily excretions. The only thing i can't explain is how you're typing with a straitjacket on.
@Tullvideoclips My dad used to help set up stage equipment for a number of bands In Las Vegas a Long time ago...Cream was one of them, My dad smoked a joint with Ginger, they got to talking and Ginger told him about the creation of the song.He didn't like it because "it sounded too poppy" whenever they would reherse he would try to get off beat on purpouse to throw Eric and Jack off beat. He later grew to accept the song.
I agree, this band should be out today full force, bring back that great sound and vib that is missing into days music.. 40 years and they know how to capture the folks with great tunes and a great time .. awesome.. my hats off to the " Cream "
Sitting here in awe of Jack Bruce's fretless Hofner--VERY hard to play that smoothly!! After 40 years, the band hasn't lost a bit of its punch...and what truly amazes me is that after 40 years (including at least 20 years of booze and drugs), all three of these guys are still alive and still damn good! Ginger Baker is still the God Of The Drums!!
The people who born with class and style.... will die in the same way... The cream were foundations of the Rock and their contibution to the world have been huge... god bless these guys for all they gave us... many many moments of happiness

It doesn't matter what he uses to create the sound, it's the person creating the sound that matters.

@wallace57 I agree. It's not like after 50 years of playing, he's struggling to find the sound he likes.
