  • About 4:19, something about the facial expression -- I could almost see the ghost of Clapton in a big curly perm and wearing a silk ascot. But then, he's the least changed of the three.

  • these guy are the greatest........i'm in heaven

  • As you get older you become more experienced and more profficient, this is as good and better than ever -

  • Is that Helena Bonham-Carter at 4:16?

  • @gsrgod I'm pretty sure it is. Tim Burton is next to her.

  • It doesn't matter what he uses to create the sound, it's the person creating the sound that matters.

  • if he was better with an sg or a paul, why is it he has used a strat for the past 30 years? just askin

  • @wallace57 I agree. It's not like after 50 years of playing, he's struggling to find the sound he likes.

  • true artists that happened to become famous, not fameseekers that claim to be artists...

  • Can anybody else hear the bass?!

come on sound guy! - get on that shit!

  • @Ahs71

    I hear it.

  • Just doesnt sound the same without humbuckers. Sorry strat fans but Clapton was better with an SG or a Paul.

  • @TheHuMoCa

True. He ruled with an SG.

  • Cream's best song. A bit rushed here; it's value was always the drag between Baker's drums and the bass line, a pondering thing, ominous. It's there in this rendition, but only in the bridges, very deliberately and boringly.

  • All this concert sounds like, a heaven sound... So clean, so perfect...

  • kin amazing

  • @noremorse The facts are Brian May is a public school boy wanker, that makes him middle class, Jacks voice is gone, Ginger is half way there and Eric has lost it, saw Cream live when they were The Cream, you need brain surgery....

  • its helena bonhan carter and tim burton on the crowd at 4:15??

  • @OldSkinsNeverDie so Brian May who was at the concert is a pathetic middle class wanker in your oppinion...hmm...i advice you to check your facts more carefully before making pointless statements...i wont comment your oppinion towards the sound witch i consider fantastic and beats all the original cream recordings....but if you dont 'see' the immense quantities of soul put together by all three musicians...then i strongly recommend you an ear surgery

  • pls take all the concert avaible for moblie pls :$ hope u see my message.thank you in adavance.

  • If I have ever peed my pants .... It this song

  • SHOULD HAVE HAD GARY MOORE THERE INSTEAD OF ERIC TO SHOW HOW TO STILL PUT ONE HUNDRED PER CENT INTO HIS PLAYING!!

  • @gibson492 THAT WAS A CREAM CONCERT I DON'T KNOW IF YOU UNDERSTAND THAT CLEARLY.

  • @metlahead6 OH I UNDERSTAND IT MATE, NOTHIN WRONG WITH JACK BRUCE HE IS AS GOOD AS EVER, ERIC IN 68 WAS BRILLIANT BUT I HAVE SEEN HIM LIVE AND STILL SEE HIM NOW AS OVERRATED. IN 1994 YOU HAD GARY MOORE DOIN A PROJECT WITH JACK AND GINGER AND HIS PLAYIN IS WELL AHEAD OF ERIC. CLAPTON DONE A TRIBUTE TO GARY ON STILL GOT THE BLUES AND EVEN THO WAS ANICE TRIBUTE. LEFT THE SOLOS TO THE KEYBOARD.

  • @gibson492 I REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD PRESS THAT BIG BUTTON TO THE LEFT ENTITLED "CAPS LOCK" FOR FUTURE USE ON THE COMPUTULAR MACHINE.

  • @metlahead6 WOW!! THINK YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR SPELLING LOL. I LIKE EC MATE I WAS GIVING YOU A TRUE FACT THAT ERIC NOW IS NOT IN THE SAME CLASS AS MOORE, BECK, SRV!!!

  • @gibson492 I really have a strong impression you're sending me these messages from a dark 3x3m room with no windows filled with bodily excretions. The only thing i can't explain is how you're typing with a straitjacket on.

  • @gibson492 Zzzzzz yawn yawn!!!

  • Back in the day Ginger Baker coundn't stand this song so much so he often tried to mess up the drums on purpous.

    FACT

  • @erik222255 Where have you read this? I'd love to read a direct quote

  • @Tullvideoclips My dad used to help set up stage equipment for a number of bands In Las Vegas a Long time ago...Cream was one of them, My dad smoked a joint with Ginger, they got to talking and Ginger told him about the creation of the song.He didn't like it because "it sounded too poppy" whenever they would reherse he would try to get off beat on purpouse to throw Eric and Jack off beat. He later grew to accept the song.

The setting of this song is an empty apt.

  • @erik222255 That was priceless! Thanks for sharing!

  • @Tullvideoclips no prob!

  • x 2

  • Classic

  • they should make a few new albums

  • Ginger's face at 5:23.

    That is all.

  • @Mrgdh42 hahahaha classic and a little creepy

  • That is some really bad ass fretless bass playing... Couldn't immagine playing a fretless bass on stage like that and sounding that good...

  • Superb!!!

  • I agree, this band should be out today full force, bring back that great sound and vib that is missing into days music.. 40 years and they know how to capture the folks with great tunes and a great time .. awesome.. my hats off to the " Cream "

  • Sitting here in awe of Jack Bruce's fretless Hofner--VERY hard to play that smoothly!! After 40 years, the band hasn't lost a bit of its punch...and what truly amazes me is that after 40 years (including at least 20 years of booze and drugs), all three of these guys are still alive and still damn good! Ginger Baker is still the God Of The Drums!!

  • Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton in the audience

  • Better than ever.

These "older" cats could out rock any young group.

    Thanks for the memories.

  • Jack Bruce and his classic fretless bass

  • and Ginger - majestic and magical

  • pause at 5:23 LOL XD

  • Masters

  • This is just EPIC!

  • The people who born with class and style.... will die in the same way... The cream were foundations of the Rock and their contibution to the world have been huge... god bless these guys for all they gave us... many many moments of happiness

  • Love When he uses the Discant :D 4:58

  • This blew the Led Zeppelin Reunion off the map. At least Cream didn't tune down 12 steps so Plant could hit his notes.

  • @AceOfHeart2012 Agreed. This was a brilliant success. Nice to see Clapton playing with awesomeness rather than with singing girls.

  • Ah, the inside joke at the end! (alas,...we'll never know it!)

  • Eric should use Gibson again, Strats just don't cut it for Cream

  • @tatethompson1234 Clapton a a 25 db mid boost for his strats which beats all the gibsons in the world, dude, just listen to the guitar pls

  • 4:15 Tim Burton and his wife...

  • the way Clapton launches the solo in this version makes me high

  • Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazingggggggggggggg !!!

  • FRETLESS BASS OOOOOOOOOMG! xD

  • At their mature best ... talent? You what!!! Eric's vocals were particularly ace that night.

  • Incredible quality! Both sound and video! Do you have the link for the download of the DVD?

  • Check out Jack Bruce's fretless bass!

  • Fucking awesome. Clapton is still GOD!!!
