Out of curiosity, how come you both stood on eachother's toes all the time, when you're fighting with swords that I would guess are at least 30 inches long?
@Dukex3 I've fought people from the SCA who fight like that, but I've never fought in an SCA tounramnet, or been authorized. Yet. Technically I'm a youth fighter, but I fight as an adult at the fighting school I belong to. Our knight teaches us a lot of shield manipulations that make figthing that close a bad idea for the most part. Have you ever heard of Count Gemini DeGrendel?
@123qwe910 I've been fighting for over 28 years. In that time I've fought using several different styles and fought against many, many more. Every style has it's advantages and disadvantages. The trick becomes exploiting your advantages before the other guy exploits the disadvantages.
