  • haha lol @ "Poongko on the verge of being sent to the loosers bracket... which is full of killers" 3:22

  • Evo could use some better quality streams.

  • @ZephyrusSol Actually, that was just my internet freezing up at times. I'd been recording matches for I don't know how many hours, and I think it was starting to say "enough".

  • Fuudo won because he's godlike

  • 4:50 HELL YEAH!!

  • i love watching first round

  • the only reason fuudo won is because of those godlike option selects

seriously, s.lp OS ultra is awkward as shit to pull off

  • POONGKO SO CLOSE

on 2:03 I saw that reset coming and was like NOOOOOOO shit

  • UHHH YOU GUYS DO REALIZE HE IS THE BOSS OF THE GAME! POONGKO HAS TO USE SETH WHICH IS NATURALLY OVER POWERED IN THIS GAME BECAUSE HE iS THE BOSS, DUHHH! WOULD YOU LIKE TOO SEE DAIGO WITH SETH? IT WOULD BE TO EASY FOR HIM. NO ONE WANTS TO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • @remarkable20 poongko has beaten daigo in the same tournament and if you say seth is the most powerful player in SSF4 then seriously you have not played this game

  • @remarkable20 You have obviously never played with Seth. Playing against him as the boss isn't the same Seth, as his health meter is less and hits don't do as much damage when player controlled. I thought once I unlocked him it would be easy to finish the game with him, but oh no. It takes a hell of a lot of dedication to get him to work well, that's why you don't see many players on line using him.

  • @ArcanePath360 Not to jump in, but I always thought a big part of why Seth wasn't used much in the Street Fighter IV games is because he wasn't selectable in the SFIV and SSFIV Arcade Machines since he was the boss.

  • Im sad that fei long is getting nerfed like hell in 2012

  • @Porkincarnate He needs it.

  • JAPAN JAPAN JAPAN

    =)

  • He got hit by that ultra wayy too much...

  • Seriously...fuck Fuudo. Fei Long and Yun users get no respect...using God Tier characters is sorry. I have tons of respect for Poongko..

  • @SinSeared u do realize that people use these top tier characters in tourneys is not because they want to but becuz they have to. Daigo even said he doesn't want to play yun but he has to win tourneys or he'll lose his sponsorship.

  • @MrEdelric444

You do realize that being good is good...Poongko beat out people that were higher tier than Seth but he had to actually work for his win, using an incredible guess game. For the high tiers it's pretty much a win easily served...and that's why they get no respect.

  • @SinSeared i c what ur saying and you're right. All I am saying is that i rather have people not respect me and use top tier characters while bringing in tons of cash than having respect using mid tier characters while bringing in some cash. Also, i think every pro no matter what character they use deserves some respect. It is how they make a living for some pros. This is just my opinion but i can totally c where you're comn from.

  • @SinSeared Gamerbee placed 5th with a C tier character

  • If u ask me that was a random desperation ultra...if GamerBee was correct then that Fuudo cat woulda got blown up bad if AE was like VF

  • Man poongko must have been heart broken. A perfect in round one on fuudo must have made him taste the championship.

  • Fuudo would get my Penis.

    I'm not Gay.

  • Fuudo was just the better man for a 2 out of 3 game. As for Poongko, he is an entertaining player to watch and I will continue watching his videos, win or lose.

  • VF>everything

  • unless the player is an american that nazi commentator only has negative things to say about the players

  • retarded Poongko now he owned

  • fei long is ridiculous; seth does about 5 combos and just 1 from fei and fei is in the lead.

  • @nochtis

makes sense because seth has projectile attacks, seth can suck you in and you can't do anything but block, seth has a long reaching arm to poke with at a distance... seth has more health than fei long against any other character, i could go on

  • @mazdaplz fei long has more health, does way more damage, has better pressure game. Once fei long gets close, there's very little Seth can do except dp, which can easily be baited. I could go on

  • @tung1588

he doesn't have more health. also fei long is not as strategic as seth, seth could rely on sonic boom and teleport if need be, fei long has to watch his health but his attack is really strong, it's called balancing.

by the way no fei long doesn't have more health, if you fight fei long vs anyone you will see he has less health than seth vs that same character

  • Poongko SHIT!!!!!!

  • Can someone tell me why the ultra at 4:45 is so great ? What was Seth going to do that left him open for an ultra ?

  • @SF4Master Fuudo did an option select. An option select is when you do an input such that a different move comes out depending on what the opponent does. In this case, Poongko backdashed so Fei's Ultra came out. If Seth didn't backdash, Fei would have just jabbed.

...wait, I thought you would know this, SF4Master XD!

  • @UserX03 tru...

but he likes 2base his wins like that off of reactions...IIRC

  • @SF4Master Its great because fuudo anticipated the back dash so he jab option select ultra'd to counter the back dash.

  • Wait so 4:45... Fuudo read that a back step would come... DAAAMN !

Credit to both players, I never knew who was going to win these fights.

  • @nubbtard Thats the mark of a pro player lol. Fuudo probably set up the situation more than once that match and noticed Poongko back dashed each time so he capitalized on it. It happens more often than you would think in high level play. Look up Marn vs Daigo.

  • @larsattack option select

  • @MrHyerty Infromal.

  • I don't get it.

Fuudo is an extremely experienced SF player. Poongko didn't lose to some new player.

  • Poongko reminds me of this japanese akuma player called K66. Amazing combos & execution, but at times too many risks.

  • man i am so pissed to see poongko lose, not because i am a poongko fan but because he gave it away so easily really....

  • serves you right poongko!!!...

    hahaha :P

  • Seth doesn't have to be played like this! you can just use FADC'D SRK's instead of SRK's without meter (SRK hits twice and after that you can FADC, if it hits it hits). No need for all that randomness!

  • @MsLoveKnowledge Poongko used just the same vortex on daigo too, I guess he was not really reading anyone, it's just that daigo wasn't able to read that and... well, fuudo won some virtua fighter tournaments, and you really have to learn how to read your oponent on vf(japanese call it "yomi"), it just happened that fuudo have learned poongko's seth...

  • What's this Evo Theme they're talking about at the start of the video?

  • the very end....bet he felt salty after that lol

  • LOL @ THE POONGKO DICKRIDERS.. I BET WHEN DAIGO BEAT POONGKO AGAIN YOUR ASSES WOULD BE RIDING DAIGO'S DICK ONCE AGAIN.

  • Fuudo luuuuuucky

  • Well, even "pros" get caught in Random Ultra's, poor Poongko. OS ultra is still a random ultra btw. He could have easily jumped or tele'd it, and he would have gotten punished.

  • @Universe4You if he jumped that jab would hit... teleport only would work imo

  • @C3TN teleport will not work - tested it out myself, the startup frames of the ultra is so enough to allow it to autocorrect should seth try to teleport out. If he teleports in place he will also get hit during the recovery frames.

  • @pinkrosa1996v no Fei Long is the winner. And hes Chinese.............. Dumbass.

  • GF's would've been free for either of these guys, extremely free.

  • yipes is a rapper?

  • I was rooting for the Poongko. great seth.

  • fuudo is cute:D

  • Poongko beat himself honestly.

  • why are all virtua fighter gamers so badass? i once played this vitua fighter player on street fighter 4 and he was sorta new to it yet he embarrassed me in front of my friends :( he was doing magical shit i had never seen before

  • @Lilsoulja4eva My guess it'd be with how ridiculously balanced the games are supposed to be. Now, I've barely touched one for more than 5 minutes, but apparently every single move has a counter for it and like every move counters another move, and it's 100% balanced to the point where it's like chess. Or...something like that.

  • @Lilsoulja4eva Like he said below, VF is a very balanced and difficult fighting game to play. Not many people can play it. And thus the majority of players gear towards other easier games, MvC, SF, SC, etc. I tried playing VF as well and I have to say it takes an extremely long time to get good at it. The reads, tactics, counter, setups, etc are just tough

  • @Lilsoulja4eva Unlike the American SF community, the VF community in Japan (and elsewhere) does not waste time on tier whoring/counter picking or shenanigans. There are no such things in VF, not even matchups (not in the same sense as there are matchups in SF). That means that the whole community is focused on one thing: to increase their skill. Not winning, but skill. Because skill is the only way to win in VF. Also, the dedication in VF community is ridiculous. We live for our game.

  • @Lilsoulja4eva I don't know much about Virtual Fighter but Gamerbee once said in an interview that Virtual Fighter is the most balanced game he has ever played, in that the better player always wins.

  • amazing read james chen!?? c',mon man you know better... you saw that jab come out! ;)

  • Yes Poongko is a really skilled player but its not like he didn't adjust his gameplay after getting nailed by the first match's Fei U1. He did try to be defensive on the second match, Fuudo just outplayed him.

  • Fuudo when U2 hit: YOOOOSHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • 最後の逆転は感動した。gg

  • FRUUDO BAGGINS

  • @ricefarmer lol

  • God must hate poongko.

  • @romostile He beat Daigo. The Lord Giveth, and the Lord Taketh Away.

  • 2:00 that is where Poongko lost the set and Evo IMO. Way too ambitious with that mix-up that backfired on him, when instead he could have kept it safe by going for a straight combo after the dizzy. Then in the corner, went for a shoryu that he didn't have the meter to cancel out of and got max damage punished. He cracked. Sucks it only took 2 combos by Fei Long to kill him that round, but that's the risk of using Seth.

  • that OS ultra was godlike

  • That was an awsome fight tho if poongko played a little safer and didnt try to style his fight he would have won that and possibly the whole tourney. Great fight by both guys anyway.

  • Hey, I'm glad Fuudo won. Unlike most Japanese players, he shows a little enthusiasm for competing and winning. Also, I've never seen anyone land Fei Long's full Ultra so consistently, let alone take rounds with it. What a hero.

  • Comment removed

  • 1:15 "and in come POOPO" BIASED COMMENTATORS WTF

  • @zimxo2 os means option select. Ex buffering sweep to ultra. If the person backdashes the sweep, ultra comes out

  • I did not watch this match standing. My hands were on my head the whole time. So hype

  • Seth had more than half his health the 3rd round but the ultra killed him in one.

  • wow look at that ultra take so much health.. doesnt even take any super meter.. what a *great* game..

  • hot battle ever

  • Poongko se fuudeu literalmente

  • are u sure the last part was an OS? what did he OS into that ultra?

  • @jo0k excatly 60%dmg ultra is way to fucking much for any char.

  • @UchihaEntertainment

its 60% because seth has only 800 stamina

  • I think you cannot optionselect the U1 from a standing LP. The buffer motion would result in a rekka LP. That's why usually crLK is the choice to OS the U1 (or 2) from.

  • Comment removed

  • This match looks like something that would happen in a street fighter anime movie and they should make it exactly like this... I think fei long deserves some attention too.. Kinda like his ending in SFA3 but instead of bison it's seth.. Where he gets beat badly in the begining but awakens his inner dragon and fights down to the wire and wins the fight with a dragon kick... Now that's more epic than a dragon punch... In your face Ryu.. But congratulations fuudo on winning the whole tournament. GJ

  • What a match!!

  • 2:14 is where Poongko lost the game. It almost upsets me, you have a huge life lead and your opponent has a full ultra, taking huge risks at that point is dumb and insulting.

  • @AyiteB Yup. I was thinking the same thing. Poongko actually lost the match for himself, rather than Fuudo doing anything. Poongko had control of the match, but as we all know he likes to throw out SRK even when unnecessary. I believe Poongko is still the better player of them all. When he cuts down on SRK after he gets the lead, he will be unstoppable for a while.

  • Best Option Select ever !!! 4:45

  • fuudo is so cute!

  • fuudo was virtual fighter champion

  • Who is this random dude, Fuudo? Never heard of him before.

  • @thefirstwhiteknight The new god of SSFIV Arcade Edition? :D

  • Congratulations Fuudo !!!!

Fuck off PoongKO ...no respect so that's what you needed

  • poongko, we love you and all, but learn to block.

  • This is also in my top matches of EVO 2011

  • god damnit poongko just gave him that first game with that ex shoryuken.

  • poongko needs to get butt naked

  • oh well, at least he stomped allover Daigo so he has that to be proud of at least lol

  • best match of evo 2001

  • WTF Amazing!!!!

  • LOL at people complaining about Fei U1 damage, compare it to Viper U1 and its jokes, that one can be combo'd so easily and does ridiculous damage that I dont know how it has stayed like that through all versions of the game. At least the damage fuudo did with U1 was with lvl 2 ultra without scaling and also the last an option select.

Both Daigo and Poongko paid the price of using glass cannon characters, stay salty.

  • that fei long read at the end was godlike

  • 最後のウルコン仕込みコパがすごい

    あれだけ昇竜をパナすぷんこによくバクステ狩り仕込んだよ

  • 2:00からの巻き返しがすげぇ

  • Poongko maybe a prodigy but look how Fuudo played even after getting perfected in the first round. Thats how champs play. Congratulations to Fuudo. Well deserved.

  • Poongko got a little too flashy. If he took any 1 of the sets, the momentum would have had poongko winning.

  • We have to be realistic here... Because we all know that If Seth had more Health, a lot of people would be commenting on how much Seth is broken. I respect Poongko a lot because when do you ever hear a Seth making it to atleast top 32??? or if not Top 8 at A Evo event?

  • So lemme sum it up for everyone:

Poongko exposed Daigo; Korean flag is held up in celebration.

Fuudo exposed Poongko; Japanese flag is held up in celebration

Don't mess with Japan I guess. XD

  • amazing, just incredible stuff. food just outsmarted poongko man. every baited DP was intended. with that said poongko and latif man, they are in that ELITE level, no level is higher than them. words cant described how i feel about latif's viper right now. just incerdible

  • Kindebu lol

  • Poongko could have had the match on freaking 2:07.!!!! He just had to style jeeesh. Poongko was my favorite by far

  • calm down poongko fanboy

  • Comment removed

  • We all see how Seth can just go off if unchecked. Fuudo totally deserves this victory and as we all see later, that he is the champion of Evo 2011.

  • his name is fuudo, only kindev calls him a food

  • Comment removed

  • A fully ultra + counter + low Feilong's health = Seth's death and 60% health is gone. Fuudo did his job and Poongko had overconfidence since He defeated Daigo. Sorry but if you are good, you have to beat everybody and Fuudo did it. Congratulations!

  • anyone noticed the ultra 1 in the 2nd game round 1 do like a lot less dmg, so was it because fei had a lot less life so the ultra does more, or what is the formula for calculating this

  • It was a great match. I love them. :-))

  • Comment removed

  • korean dick riders (shitty americans) go mad lol.

but sorry all we know seth is broken.

you should be proud of Latif!

  • @599121 wow you're dumb

  • years of playing Virtua Fifghter the most advanced fighting game helped fuudo win evo2011

  • Fuudo's answer people who wonder how to win poongko .

  • amazing match, but it was kinda lame for an ultra to be the winning factor for three of the rounds.

  • by the way to all you mad viewers, that last ultra that destryoed poongo was an OS.

    was not random.

  • @BillbertoPerfecto thank you. i thought i was the only that caught it at the moment it happened.

  • @BillbertoPerfecto What's the other outcome of the OS? Rekka?

  • @BillbertoPerfecto hahahaha "to all you mad viewers" best Comment opening line on youtube.

  • @BillbertoPerfecto not quite sure if that really was an OS my friend ;)

  • @BillbertoPerfecto so explain how being able to option select into a 60%dmg ultra is a good balance.

  • @BillbertoPerfecto What is an OS?

  • @Zimx02 OS is option select. It's when you input moves before they come out, in case your current move misses or something. An easy example to see is crouch blocking and hitting light punch and light kick. If the opponent doesn't do anything, a light kick will come out. If the opponent tries to throw you, since you're hitting the buttons for a throw, you tech the throw.

  • @BillbertoPerfecto what does OS mean? that was some craaaaaaazy shit!

  • @BillbertoPerfecto I will need to try that next time.

  • @BillbertoPerfecto Explain this OS to me, after his dash forward what does he to do perform an OS?

The video is kinda choppy so it's hard to tell if he dashes forward, throws, and then inputs ultra incase the throw wiffs, which is the OS I'm thinking you're saying he did here.

  • @Shindrah09 The OS is a meaty st.jab with a buffered Ultra (as OS). If Seth blocks then the jab will be blocked and the ultra does not come out. If he jumps, the jabs meaty and will connect and fuudo can confirm into rekkas and reset the corner pressure. If he backdashes (like here) the invicibility frames of the backdash makes the st. jab whiff and the ultra comes out to punish. I'm not sure if seth teleports whether the ultra will auto-correct itself though

  • @Shindrah09 just tested it in training mode, Ultra would beat teleport (the ultra autocorrects if you try to teleport out). In this situation, Poongko's options were either to block or SRK (with no meter to FADC). Fuudo bravely and correctly predicted that Poongko would not throw out another raw SRK after being baited twice hence why this OS was so high level.

  • @unknown2k1 Thats why you gotta learn what is balance, man. Chars have different health bars and str for a reason. Seth is the one char of the game who has a response for everything (probably the most resourceful char in the game). Thats why he is balanced with low dmg. Don't complain before knowing the game well.

  • @unknown2k1

I knew people like you would complain about the damage of Fei's U1. Fei's U1 does a lot of damage, but it's not really that good because the damage is low when you combo with it. There are other chars with as damaging ultras that can also be comboed into:

    Cody

    Rufus

    Makoto

    C. Viper

    Sakura

    Sagat

    Abel

Almost every character has an ultra with 450+ damage. Akuma, Cammy, Blanka, Adon, Ken, Ryu, Balrog, etc.

  • @danni13371

if someone seriously complains about Fei's U1 damage , then they are noob.

  • @PedroPaolillo Kind of like how Fei has an answer for everything too... And yet he does really good damage, has good health AND stun. Wanna poke? c.MP. Untechable knockdown? ex-CW. Best close-mid range poke/anti-zoning/hit-confirmable move in the entire game, bar none? Rekka

  • @unknown2k1 Seth has the lowest health for a reason.

  • the damage on fei's u1 is garbage. poongko destroyed this guy the whole time, and loses because of 1 move that takes over half of his health off. salt.

  • @dannyVulture

    yah u mad.

  • @dannyVulture the damage on his U1 is garbage indeed but not in the way you think

  • bruce lee lives

  • fuudo wipe them out!! undefeated!! man he's so underrated! haha poongko owned daigo! but here comes fuudo! from out of nowhere!

  • Comment removed

  • that damege

  • Comment removed

  • @vikrantw2000

Don't worry that faggot was destroyed. The other minger fuudo made it though.

Poongko trashing Daigo was great enough. All the matches are worthless.

  • @SeventhSun Thats great!

  • @SeventhSun

u mad cunt? yah u mad. LOL

    Fuudo >>>KOREA and America.
