Correct. Eventually I'll post a comparison of equally bloated boot tests. There are plenty of fresh boot test comparisons on youtube, but not many that are weighed down after a few months of use.
Windows 7 is not fresh loading is 3-2 minutes.I tested It has been installed only 5 programs and all drivers.Windows Xp in my computer loading for 11 sec.(is not a fresh)
Windows XP theme is Zune (google "zune xp theme" and you should find it). I think Windows 7 was set to the default theme using wallpapers from landscapes (US region, I didn't activate global region themes yet).
You Need to Download Windows 7.. Search In google Windows 7 RC after you download you need to Burn it to a DVD if you Download 64 bit Windows 7 RC it's like 3gb, 32 bit is 2gb+
and one other thing...Your windows 7 is very old build ..use new ones...and dont forget it its beta but its about 10 years that people are using XP, more experience you know..
This video was created back in 2008. I'm now running 7057. There are almost no performance differences. Just a few fixed bugs, more backgrounds and other visual differences, etc...
actually your PC sucks....i have wiindows 7 and thats the best...security ,,,Driver recognazition... nice virtual designs...easy to use,,,commone its year 2009...with windows xp your gonna get virus toooo soon
i was comparing windows xp sp3 and windows 7 beta on Pentium 4 2ghz, 1gb ram, 60gb hard disk, and xp was faster, win 7 was freezing and much slower, how come ?
I'm not sure. Windows 7 runs fine on my netbook with a Atom N270 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD (later upgraded to 128GB SSD), and Windows 7 was slightly faster with no freezing on build 7057.
XP is the best? That's subjective. I tend to think 7 will be the "best" Windows OS, especially after a service pack or two. I already like it over XP, and it's still in beta.
XP is faster? I disagree. XP trails behind 7 slightly when it comes to performance. Boot time is also longer in XP because it doesn't focus on parallel driver loading and on-demand service start up like 7 does.
I think with time, the anti-Vista crowd will come to love 7 like they loved XP. :-)
Okay!!!! how about this one windows xp-windows 7 vienna this o/s has got the speed and stilbillity of xp with the look & feel of vista & 7 + longhorn check that one out I am using it now and it is great!!! xp still numba 1 in my books.:)
Well ok lets face it they all good don"t matter wihich version they made of windows I suppose u can customise it to the way u want it and tweak them to run at a good speed.
i have a basic question... how do i activate the fade in and out effect for os 7 ??? when u open my computer the window fades in ... but i installed os 7 buil 6057 rc1 and it just pops up like xp ... i have a dx 10.1 video card witch suports vista aero .... how do i do it ?
windows 7 is probbaly what gamers have been waiting for with it having directx 10(vista did also but it sucked games ran so slow on it) it also picks up my 5gig of ram....as xp picked up 4 and only has directx 9c
I never said that nor implied it. I was noting that my Windows XP partition was loaded down and wasn't a fair representation of XP performance, especially compared to 7 which was a fresh install.
Windows 7 is (overall) faster than both XP and Vista on my 900HA.
As you can see in this video, boot time is at least one benefit of Windows 7.
Netbook owners are excited about Windows 7 because it will be a very touchscreen friendly operating system. Most people expect Windows 7 will easily outperform Vista while keeping (and even adding more) features, so speed worries on low end hardware won't be a problem. It also has beated XP SP3 in preliminary performance tests, but we'll know more when we get a final release.
Yeah, I remember back in the day downloading "Long Horn" and expecting that Vista was going to be similar, but then it was entirely different by the time they released it.
I doubt we will see the price drop much cheaper than Vista is now. Windows 7 Home Basic will probably be under $100 once it's released (Vista Home Basic is about $89 now).
my EEEpc 904HA has dual boot also winxp home and win7 ultimate. For me i prefer Win xp
Xp rocks!!!

Why not google win7 and find out for your self.

Hey jackass, go to his channel, he has several other videos about win7, so it seems he knows something about it so I asked a logical question.
Fuck off with your thumbs down and smart ass comment by the way.

you dont say? Interesting. now hopefully it will actually be cheap, as in cost around $100, one can hope right?
