see here is a regular turn, but dont get fooled, it looks "simply" , just a fast turn, but the more speed you enter, the more complex it gets, just look how bumpy the car gets, im not sure if the suspension are not stock (wich can be modified, in a bad setup for this bumpy sector) so, civic get into the turn at a very high speed, if the civic would brake a little bit before entering the turn, maybe this wouldnt happen

too much lateral g´s in a bumpy section of the track is not a good idea

I think he went in too fast..you can see that as he hits the dirt coming out of the corner...I think he then over-corrected and lifted off the throttle. Ep3's basically have a characteristic called lift-off oversteer meaning you can get the car to oversteer by simply getting off the gas when turning.

If you watch the moment he hit the freshly laid surface you will notice he lost traction and hit the dirt on the outside edge of the track which caused the spin. If it wasn't for that new surface he would have made it though no problem and probably caught the car in front. These things happen.
