I started watching this show just a week ago and I think that I'm totally addicted to it... I watched part 299 and I can't wait for next episodes to be uploaded... being a QAF fan, I really appreciate the reality of this show, compared to ATWT (where they finally have sex after 253 parts together, which is almost one year and a half!!!)... to me it seems so normal that two young men (people in general) have sex if they're in love.
I have watch it but never thought it was many but I do agree with you.. This is so really compare from ATWT but almost every gay couple have sex pretty fast in tv shows, of course not Glee and ATWT but everybody else.. Thank god. ;)

ATWT was shot in the US, not The Netherlands. Different countries, audience, standards. A scene like this would have caused massive boycotts against P&G (the company that owned ATWT) and the story of NUKE would have been nixed asap.

Lucas and Edwin are soooooooooo freaking cute together! There should be more of this on TV! I love how they played this scene. It wasn't rushed, it was slow and beautiful and that's what love should be. :)
The best part was at the end of the scene. when Lucas talks about it being unfair that you don't have to come out as straight, but when you discover your different you have to. this is not verbatum, but you get the idea. ;)
I have to give Raynard alot of credit, he really plays the last scene and this one very well. He really made it seem like he was in love and finding out what its like with a guy. Ferry is also doing a superb job of playing his role!
It's so nice they had both a lovescene & a morning after scene that weren't rudely interrupted by anyone walking in on them.- That's more soap cliche's smashed to bits. Good writing!

I found Luca's comment about coming out really interesting. Thus far I have not heard it in movies or TV till Lucas mensions it. That is that it is unfair, that you do not have to come out if you are straight, but being diferent you have to. Because Edwin told Wiet about Jeroen (though in Wiet's story Jeroen was a dog), I'm wondering if he's going to show up. That's such a soap thing to do. If not Jeroen, then maybe a doppelganger, someone who reminds Edwin of his first love, Jeroen.

Edwin is I believe, rather older than 15, but certainly younger than Lucas. He's got a mixed bag at home, certainly, but Bianca will be a strong support for him once she's had a day or so.

To save money the production company re-uses materials from previous sets like the silver chesterfield sofa in Dansatoria was original the sofa of Bing, Sjors and Noud in their previous home that got blown up by a gas explosion so it must have survived miraculously! LOL The same for the leopard print sheets!
I love this storyline and like everyone else here in America if it wasn't for YouTube I wouldn't be able to watch stories like this, so thanks mark and gtst for this great story, thanks for showing another part of life and for not hiding it on the background like if it doesn't excist

Aww, Dutch is such a cute language. I love the line "Mr. Impatient, you want everything at once-right away" said in Dutch. Sounds so cute, maybe it's Edwin's voice, I dunno. Maybe it's 50/50 (Dutch/Edwin's voice).

I found Luca's comment about coming out really interesting. Thus far I have not heard it in movies or TV till Lucas mensions it. That is that it is unfair, that you do not have to come out if you are straight, but being diferent you have to. I came out 26yrs ago & to this day I still remember how my brain wanted to burst out of my scull trying to think of the best way to do so & how my folks may react.

@macylea13 This is soap, people sometimes age 5 years in half a year or something. The character Lucas was actually born in 2000, so that would make Lucas only eleven. It's called 'SORAS', you can look it up on wikipedia ;).

Could Edwin and Lucas now just settle down and have a HAPPY relationship? Just live happily ever after in a windmill with roses round the door? It would be so refreshing and bold for a soap to have a couple where things go WELL. Sadly the sadists behind this soap probably have other ideas.

Because Edwin told Wiet about Jeroen (though in Wiet's story Jeroen was a dog), I'm wondering if he's going to show up. That's such a soap thing to do. If not Jeroen, then maybe a doppelganger, someone who reminds Edwin of his first love, Jeroen.
Wouldn't that be interesting: Lucas competing with a ghost for Edwin's love?

@armand1484 I think you're a little confused. When Edwin told the story to Wiet, Jeroen wasn't a dog. Edwin told Lucas about his dog Willem when they were locked up in a toilet cubicle.

@skyemcleod1 I agree. A fifteen year-old is often ill-equipped to deal with puberty and peers, let alone the opinions of his or her parental units. I too, came from a family that condemned - and I didn't come out until I was ready: on my own and reasonably secure from their ill influence. Along the way I met some wonderful people who helped me realize the lack wasn't in me but in my family. I sincerely wish that for your neighbour's son as well. (cont'd)

His mother and her antics are ridiculous, but perhaps the young man has a school counselor he can speak with? One of the nice things about teen years is that it's nigh on impossible for a parent to control all of the input. I hope he gets the positives he deserves!
Edwin is I believe, rather older than 15, but certainly younger than Lucas. He's got a mixed bag at home, certainly, but Bianca will be a strong support for him once she's had a day or so.

@melshorse IDK Ludo doesn't really have much of a soft spot for Lucas. He tolerates him because he's Janine's son and Janine loves him, but that's about it. If Anton wants to rant away I don't think he'll care too much about listening to him trash Lucas. If he threatened to harm him, that another story, but Anton isn't that crazy...I don't think. I mean he liked Dex for crying out loud and Dex was terrible when it came to Lucas.

when i was in high school i had this school mate his straight were friend (close) he always joke me though he know that im kinda a sissy guy he love to hung out with me. I loved this episode even more than the previous (wich says a lot) God they are so comfortable around each other and you can totally tell they are absolutely in love ^^ and on top of that: they are both really hot, what more can a girl wish for right?;)

To save money the production company re-uses materials from previous sets like the silver chesterfield sofa in Dansatoria was original the sofa of Bing, Sjors and Noud in their previous home that got blown up by a gas explosion so it must have survived miraculously! LOL The same for the leopard print sheets!
