nice,,less flicker than the master system version..just got hold of an sp after getting back into my old dmg brick and wanting to play some old school gb stuff with a brighter and less green screen....gutted as i never realised that sp wasn't backlit and now wish i'd got one of the ags 101 american versions which was...i remember my monochrome gameboy pocket having better contrast than this shiddy sp screen..foiled again

prob shoulda got one of them instead and a super gameboy for me snes..

I've always really liked the first level music in this version of R-Type. I even prefer it to the arcade's.

I had this for my GB Pocket on the R-Type DX package. Including both games it was a top package.

Jaaaa, endlich geschafft!!!! :)

Nach vielen, vielen.... Versuchen habe ich dieses ultraknackige *****Spiel endlich auf meinem Gameboy Advance durchgespielt!!!! Habe dafür 7 Leben verschleudert, wobei ich allein 5 am Ende des 4. Levels und 2 beim 5. Level verschwendet habe! Level 6 ist wesentlich leichter als obengenannte. Was solls... R-TYPE RULEZ!!!!

lol, ich hatte das spiel vor 10jahren und hab es heute erst auf nem emu mit save-funktion geknackt. ist ja alles ganz easy eigentlich, aber das vierte level ist viel zu derb^^

klar, das entschärft die sache enorm. aber ich versuch es wohl nochmal ohne alles.

dennoch find ich das spiel etwas imbalanced, weil echt kein anderes level mich so fertig macht wie das vierte. vor allem das dritte und sechste sind ja ein witz dagegen.
