I've a question, how to remove an evaporation flask from the condensing tube, when it gets stuck? :( I'm working in the lab now and I can't start working because the flask is stuck. :(
@ilaughcrying It's difficult to say without seeing. But assuming that it is not stuck on with excess product, be sure that the machine is turned off and the pressure release valve is open. The pressure gage should decrease and you will be able to hear the air rushing into the system. If there is no pdt contaminating the connection and the pressure has been relieved (I assume that you have also removed the rotary evap. clip from the flask) give the flask a little tug and twist. It should pop...
@ilaughcrying continued... right off. But use caution and don't force it. You are working with glass and of course a very expensive piece of equipment!
