@frugalnanny Once, probably. Because after finishing making one batch of ice cream, the bowl wont be cold enough to freeze the next batch properly. You might be able to make a second batch if your ice cream mixture have a heavy custard base. But, I personally don't recommend it.
And yes, of course you can buy another bowl. Just be careful not to scratch it from the inside. Use a rubber spatula when removing the ice cream.
