On veteran in escape part, RUN as fast as possible to the house on end of the map. Hide behind it and fuck out all enemies. It works. I finally beat this mission, but I can't beat Contingency. :(

At 0:54 it starts to blend in well when Sheperd Calls in while all 4 of you run in the open.

Somehow I got Ozone and Scarecrow to live long enough to get to this part. When you start running in the field, Ozone stays behind.(Dumbass)All of Makarov's men closes in, and they kill Ozone. Scarecrow and Ghost run along. I held off the Russians to see what would happen to Scarecrow. Only to find out that he get's owned by a lucky mortar. Then it's just you and Ghost. But we all know how that ends.

U can stay with Ozone and fight off the enemies...eventually u'll see either Ozone or Scarecrow (usually Scarecrow) killed by an invisible sniper, and then the other would be killed by a lucky mortar...

I remember when I played this. I rushed across the feild, through a hornets nest of enemies, just to get stuck between two deaths: Death by a hell lot of russians on a hill, or death by mortars.

Heh,I got through BOTH ambush parts, (beginning and ending of level) by sticking to the right and killing only people in front of you. Attempting to kill everyone will get you cut down by mortars and foot mobiles.

i remember on Veteran, whenever i got close to the end, i somewhat got blown up by an RPG and i had to restart from running down the field. I wanted to rush and finish the mission, so many guys trying to kill me and thus i ran with two big MGs. Then i clear the guys down the hill and just as i am about to finish, i get RPG'd and i almost threw my controller out the window.

+1 Beat it on first try. Use cover and tactics. Make sure you kill everything. Then just walk to the end :P:P

@Warman4DDK That's exactly what I did on my third try. Except when coming to a part near the LZ with Mortars and infantry, I was killed twice. So I did use cover and spammed most of my weapons and then run along the mountain side to avoid most weapon fire and run and duck most of that until the cutscene when I was near hit by an explosion.

MEh I kinda found thats what worked best. No tactics ever worked perfectly. just trial and error. At least it wasn't 25+ tries like my friends have been doing. :P

@Ag0rak YO same thing man......just that i carried my pistol to be faster and just ran to where ghost and i would die, by flashing the hell out of the place.......but i hate the game for the bullshit thats in multiplayer ,its worse than cod4 and the hit detection is seriously bad.....(shot a guy in the foot i get a Headshot?!?!!)

@WashingtonCapitals19 To be honest, there was no good point to cover. It was either haul ass or be mauled. I knew that it was a bad idea to carry L86 with M240 and both with empty mags! I had to spray my way out of the estae because of all the craziness. Grenades, flashes, stuns, seeing at least 30 dots around my minimap and only 3 friendly.

By the time i reached to the chekpoint, i only had half a clip of M240 and the L86 was empty. I had ammo, but no time for cover and reload.

@Ag0rak ik dude i did it on another account and if u take the wa2000 and snipe ppl from the back door and just take out everyone it isnt bad at all theres like no one the first time i did it i just booked it as fast as i can go it worked good but like 50 meters i wouldnt stay alive and so many times i thought i was make it i would die i was so pissed i throw so many flashes and it would work but they would still kill me , the thing is you gotta go when ghost says i got you coverd to stay alive
