Why are people so mean to Pit Bulls?! Those wonderful dogs are NOT bred to fight or kill they were BRED to be loyal and kind to their masters if I see someone abusing or telling their dog to fight the other peoples dog I'll just go up to them and say "exscuse me what your doing is SO WRONG! I think you'd never deserve to have a any animal..
Any fog is capable to attack. I was bitten by a chow and a german Sheppard. I now own a pitbull and she is the sweetest dog I have ever met. Also chows are mean. Throwing that one out there. I personally know more people bitten by chows than pitbulls.
mmy sisters both have pits and my sisters dog jumps on me and he is such a love bug and so is my others sisters dog the dog is so fun to be aroung my sister was trying to move and we had to take my siters female pit and here and my tiny dog played and played and every on who is saying crap about pits and that they r killer how bout its our fualts they are being placed as fight dogs they didnt do it u drugged them and i cried when i seen this video bc i love animals my sis pit wont hurt a thing
I don't know why people hate these dogs so much! I absolutely love these dogs! I wish other people would too. Any dog is capable of killing a person. Even your dog could. Also, why do you object so much to strict licensing and owner licensing for such powerful dogs? Everyone on here says how nice the dogs are, well then why not license all dogs and owners. Any unlicensed dog would be put down. (as are 99% of pit bulls today)
@masterblend100 No, the ancestors of the pit bull were brought to the U.S and used as farm dogs. Its bull baiting ancestry made it a good cattle herder. Its terrier ancestry made a good tracker and rodent catcher, and so they were often left to roam the farms alone when off duty; they'd typically go off chasing vermin, barking at strangers, or play with the farm children. Often times people would steal these dogs and force them to fight, starting the APBT as a fighting breed.

My Pitbull is the most amazing dog I have ever had in my life, and I've had many dogs my whole life. She is the sweetest, funniest, sweetest, loyal, biggest suck I've ever known. When she does something bad (like gets into the garbage lol) and she knows we're mad at her she litterally shakes and huddles in a corner.. yeah what a mean dog. I can't even get mad at her cause she's she sweet and kind. I hate this bullshit being spread about them its the owners not the dog!

I don't normally cry, but when it comes it animal abuse and especially pit bull fighting, I cry like a new born baby. Pit bulls are my favorite dog breed. Sadly I'm not able to get a pit bull myself Becuz my family is terrified of pits, but when the times right I will get one. I have a chihuaha mix and his bark us probably louder then a pits. One time I accidentally left the door open and he ran out. My neighbor was walking his pit bull and my dog was barking at the pit while he just sat there

what is realy sad-- 2 years ago the land owner to our house died 97 years old and her son took over he came to our house to check out everthing and saw we had pitbulls and FORCED us to git rid of them so our AMAZING frind took them for a few months untill we could move and then we moved.WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!??? they are the sweetest dogs ever. well we only have one now the youngest -hazel died due to and IDIOT at our house left the door open and hazel got hit and killed, :'(

There are these 2 huge pit bulls that always bark and growl there heads off when you walk past, everybody is scared of them, and even i was at one point, but one day, i got the nerve to walk up to the fence, and as i did, they backed down and started licking me, and i give them a pat every time i walk past them now, people can say pit bulls are mean and horrible, But they'll learn there lesson when they get attacked by a so called friendly breed. I walk the dogs at my local animal shelter, and we have a colour system to base the dogs on their friendly and agressive behaivours, last week i was there and there was a small dog that was placed in a cage and labelled as danger do not pet me!! So it is not pits that are agressive it is the person behind the dog.

I hate the stereotyping of these amazing animals. It's no the breed. It's the owners. I love love love pitbulls. They are the most loyal, loving, and affectionate dogs. I've had a number of different breeds in my life. My mom used to operate an animal shelter so I got to see all kinds of pooches. And pits were the best. Haters of these dogs will continue to hate but when one saves their life one day maybe they will see the truth. I have a white red nose and I would die for that dog.

ALSO, look up the number of breeds often mistaken for pit bulls i know of at least 23 breeds commonly mistakenly identified as pit bulls. News doesnt care if the dog really is a pit bull, if it even looks similar in any way it automatically is reported as a pit bull, and the average person cant even correctly choose the true pure bred american pit bull terrier out of a group of a bunch of other breeds...so that sure helps them :/

Her facts and figures are biased and far from the truth, ask any educated veterinarian, the AKC etc, they will tell you the truth. It has nothing to do with the breed. And people fight them because they are easy to train and eager to please!
People kill more people than pit bulls ever will, so let's ban people! I am a proud owner of a pit husky mix and I try to educate my neighbors daily on how it is nurture not nature that make ANY dog breed violent. @91lle no acctually, they chose pits because of their EXTREMLEY high pain tolerance and stamina. And so everyone knows they use mastiff type dogs rotties, dobies, gsd ,great Danes, and another big strong dog for fights. And if all pits were naturally aggressive there would be a couple million people dead. They were bred to fight dogs but be extremely loving around people, any dog book will tell you that.
When I walk my pities people grab their kids and run, etc. They act like I'm walking a freaking toga or something. Banning them won't help because some people will chose another dog to ruin, or they will break the law by smuggling. Banning won't help, and it's not their fault anyways. I love pits!

i used to not like pit bulls, but one day i went to a friends house n her dog started playin with me etc then she told me it was a pit, after that i realized i was very wrong.
The reason why so many dog attacks are done by pitbulls is not because it's in their nature, it's because a lot of people who want violent and vicious dogs tend to choose pitbulls as their pets. I have had several dogs throughout my life, and the most violent one was a lab that was territorial over our family. to say it's in a pit's nature to attack people is dumb. any dog raised by a violent person will be violent.
Pitbulls are bulldogs and terriers mixed together to make a tough ,tenatious, strong, and strong hearted dogs. Any dog can attack if trained to do so.

I will never own a pit bull for as long as I live,not just because they are pit bulls but because I had a bad experience with one. My aunt and I were in her van with my baby cousin in the back,he wasnt even a year old, and a pit bull just out of nowhere started to attack the van trying to get in and get to my cousin. My aunt had to climb out of her window and run to the door and get her gun,that pit bull died that day,It had to, it was vicious, but no dog deserves to be abused or judged by breed
my red nose is the best hws 6 yrs old i had him from when wen i was 6 and now im 14 he has scared away bullies that push me in the park and even pedofhiles he protects my 1 month old cousin and only lets my aunty my mum dad and me touch it he is awake at night to check us so were safe he is a beutiful white dog with hazel eyes and hes my best friend
Haha as a lil kid I was scared of all dogs but pitbulls they are the nicest and loving. Then one day I heard a lady say there the most vicious.... Such terrible lies! One day I was outside holding my cousin seeing if the car came to my cousins house. His pittbull jumps over a 7th fence to save me from a rushing giant dog. My cousins pit jumps on his neck and one bite and the dog ran away and the pit didn't chase it came to check on me. This dog was never taught to fight. Pure love
I love this video! pitts are very sweet animals and are VERY protective. The only reason they have a bad reputation is because of the pitts that have a bad owner MADE them mean, When pit puppies are born, the owner either makes them sweet or makes them mean.. i own four pits and not one of them are mean, sweetest animals you will ever meet. very playful loving and forgiving. they dont want to hurt anyone but the ones that do - thats all they know. they dont know any better.

I love this video so much, i have a pit bull and grew up with it always in my arms and its never even gave me one bad look. we are never allowed anywhere but shes never tried to harm anyone but shes saved many people. People dont realize pit bulls mostly only attack because they were trained to fight or they were abused. my dog saved lifes while her sister was abused in another house hold and attacked few but were stopped in time. it hurts me when i read lies about pit bulls.

My entire life has been spent with pitbulls, everyone of them is special to me and will never be forgotten, 11 pitbulls during my life and not one bite, snap or anything but love from these animals, u say these pics are carefully selected? A dog will grow up to be a great dog in the right loving and safe environment. Dogs can be trained, people not so easily. Dog fighting is destroying the future of these dogs and irresponsible dog owners don't help. Dog fighters messed with the original dog for their own sick, twisted purposes. Blame the person, not the dog. Kids should be supervised around any dog. Dogs should not be allowed to run loose and if a dog shows signs of aggression you put a muzzle on it & find a dog trainer.

I have been searching for the right puppy for awhile. High and low. Researching different breeds and looking anywhere I could to find a puppy I could connect with. I was in a Petland (no judging please) where I heard quite possibly the best answer I can think of. I asked what the man thought of pitbulls. About the likelihood they would turn on you and attack. And he told me this: It has nothing to do with the breed of the dog. The #1 aggressive dog statistically. Is a tied up male.

i also own a pitbull but i was afraid of it because some our neighbors told us that we should put our dog to the pound because it always kills there chicken,cats and dogs. but my pitbull kills everything that trespass our house its not even my dog's fault why there animals came inside to our house but they are trying to demand us but im happy one of our neighbors loved our dog she was very kind there also trespass our house but my dog never kills it he plays it :)

The only reason why pits fight is because they want to please their owners. I loved my pit she was loyal and protective of my boyfriend and I. Her bestfriend was a little dog that weighs 15 lbs. It's not the breed.

People are so stupid -.- I have a 3 yr old pit bull I got from a shelter she was bait for fighting yet she's the sweetest dog ever! Loves all people all dogs she guards my god kids and try's to help them up when they fall she even plays with my cats and my rats I grew up showing and breeding GSD there a 100 times more likely to bite than a pit bull I WILL NEVER own any other breed

pits r truly one of the most gentle and loyal animals. i have two and i could not ask for better dogs. its all about how they were raised and how they were treated. my older dog as a year old puppy helped hand raise my two kittens. he treated them like they were his pups. pits r just misunderstood and given a bad rep by some ppl. they're just awesome.

People use many different large dog breeds for fighting. Loved this video. We got 2 wonderful Pitt girls. Both of them are very loving and absolutely none aggressive. They are not even aggressive around their food. Something I can't say for the rest of our dogs. We love Pitts and believe in our heart that with the right training and socialization they are the best dogs anyone can have.
I have a story of 2 dog breeds w/viscous reps meeting for the1st time and becoming instant friends! I had my German shepherd in Petsmart and a lady w/a Pitbull was in there and asked if they could get close, i said ok as the Pitbull was appeared well mannered and my GSD only shows aggression if the other dog shows it 1st. Anyway, after sniffing each other, they became instant friends and were playing so nice! Wish i took video! They were both sad when it was time to go :( good people= good dogs

i do believe this is the best video i have ever seen on youtube. It is not the dogs but the ones who rise them, who are to blame for the dogs behavior. @masterblend100 No, the ancestors of the pit bull were brought to the U.S and used as farm dogs. Its bull baiting ancestry made it a good cattle herder. Its terrier ancestry made a good tracker and rodent catcher, and so they were often left to roam the farms alone when off duty; they'd typically go off chasing vermin, barking at strangers, or play with the farm children. Often times people would steal these dogs and force them to fight, starting the APBT as a fighting breed.

I don't normally cry, but when it comes it animal abuse and especially pit bull fighting, I cry like a new born baby. Pit bulls are my favorite dog breed. Sadly I'm not able to get a pit bull myself Becuz my family is terrified of pits, but when the times right I will get one. I have a chihuaha mix and his bark us probably louder then a pits. I walk the dogs at my local animal shelter, and we have a colour system to base the dogs on their friendly and agressive behaivours, last week i was there and there was a small dog that was placed in a cage and labelled as danger do not pet me!! I hate the stereotyping of these amazing animals. It's no the breed. It's the owners. I love love love pitbulls. They are the most loyal, loving, and affectionate dogs. I've had a number of different breeds in my life. My mom used to operate an animal shelter so I got to see all kinds of pooches. And pits were the best. Haters of these dogs will continue to hate but when one saves their life one day maybe they will see the truth. I have a white red nose and I would die for that dog.

ALSO, look up the number of breeds often mistaken for pit bulls i know of at least 23 breeds commonly mistakenly identified as pit bulls. News doesnt care if the dog really is a pit bull, if it even looks similar in any way it automatically is reported as a pit bull, and the average person cant even correctly choose the true pure bred american pit bull terrier out of a group of a bunch of other breeds...so that sure helps them :/

And so everyone knows they use mastiff type dogs rotties, dobies, gsd ,great Danes, and another big strong dog for fights. The reason why so many dog attacks are done by pitbulls is not because it's in their nature, it's because a lot of people who want violent and vicious dogs tend to choose pitbulls as their pets. I have had several dogs throughout my life, and the most violent one was a lab that was territorial over our family. to say it's in a pit's nature to attack people is dumb. any dog raised by a violent person will be violent.

What people really need to realize is that banning pit bulls will not stop dog fighting, those piece of shit bastards will use toy poodles for fighting if they have to. Which is what will happen if every breed that is used for fighting is banned. Ban the fighting, not the breed. Toughen up the laws for dog fighting. @retardsinmotionvlogs me and my dad had a pure bread white pit-bull. he was a big dog. but as loveable as could be. one day dad came home from work and the dog was gone. the gate was wide open and the dog was nowhere to be found. we suspect that he was taken and used for fighting. very sad to think that people do such stupid and cruel stuff to these beautiful and friendly dogs.

I will never own a pit bull for as long as I live,not just because they are pit bulls but because I had a bad experience with one. My aunt and I were in her van with my baby cousin in the back,he wasnt even a year old, and a pit bull just out of nowhere started to attack the van trying to get in and get to my cousin. My aunt had to climb out of her window and run to the door and get her gun,that pit bull died that day,It had to, it was vicious, but no dog deserves to be abused or judged by breed

Haha as a lil kid I was scared of all dogs but pitbulls they are the nicest and loving. Then one day I heard a lady say there the most vicious.... Such terrible lies! One day I was outside holding my cousin seeing if the car came to my cousins house. His pittbull jumps over a 7th fence to save me from a rushing giant dog. My cousins pit jumps on his neck and one bite and the dog ran away and the pit didn't chase it came to check on me. This dog was never taught to fight. Pure love

I love this video! pitts are very sweet animals and are VERY protective. The only reason they have a bad reputation is because of the pitts that have a bad owner MADE them mean, When pit puppies are born, the owner either makes them sweet or makes them mean.. i own four pits and not one of them are mean, sweetest animals you will ever meet. very playful loving and forgiving. they dont want to hurt anyone but the ones that do - thats all they know. they dont know any better.

I love this video so much, i have a pit bull and grew up with it always in my arms and its never even gave me one bad look. we are never allowed anywhere but shes never tried to harm anyone but shes saved many people. People dont realize pit bulls mostly only attack because they were trained to fight or they were abused. my dog saved lifes while her sister was abused in another house hold and attacked few but were stopped in time. it hurts me when i read lies about pit bulls.

A dog will grow up to be a great dog in the right loving and safe environment. Dogs can be trained, people not so easily. Dog fighting is destroying the future of these dogs and irresponsible dog owners don't help. Dog fighters messed with the original dog for their own sick, twisted purposes. Blame the person, not the dog. Kids should be supervised around any dog. Dogs should not be allowed to run loose and if a dog shows signs of aggression you put a muzzle on it & find a dog trainer.

i also own a pitbull but i was afraid of it because some our neighbors told us that we should put our dog to the pound because it always kills there chicken,cats and dogs. but my pitbull kills everything that trespass our house its not even my dog's fault why there animals came inside to our house but they are trying to demand us but im happy one of our neighbors loved our dog she was very kind there also trespass our house but my dog never kills it he plays it :)

pits r truly one of the most gentle and loyal animals. i have two and i could not ask for better dogs. its all about how they were raised and how they were treated. my older dog as a year old puppy helped hand raise my two kittens. he treated them like they were his pups. pits r just misunderstood and given a bad rep by some ppl. they're just awesome.

Weren't Pit Bulls bred to be fighters for a reason? Perhaps because they are naturally aggressive?
People must have chosen THAT breed over other breeds for a reason, just like they chose Italian Greyhounds to be race dogs.
Why didn't they choose a Great Dane or German Sheppards to be fighters?

People use many different large dog breeds for fighting. The reason the bullies are used is because of their eagerness to please, their intelligence, and their strength and agility among other things. Loved this video. We got 2 wonderful Pitt girls. Both of them are very loving and absolutely none aggressive. They are not even aggressive around their food. Something I can't say for the rest of our dogs. We love Pitts and believe in our heart that with the right training and socialization they are the best dogs anyone can have.

I have a story of 2 dog breeds w/viscous reps meeting for the1st time and becoming instant friends! I had my German shepherd in Petsmart and a lady w/a Pitbull was in there and asked if they could get close, i said ok as the Pitbull was appeared well mannered and my GSD only shows aggression if the other dog shows it 1st. Anyway, after sniffing each other, they became instant friends and were playing so nice! Wish i took video! They were both sad when it was time to go :( good people= good dogs

i do believe this is the best video i have ever seen on youtube. It is not the dogs but the ones who rise them, who are to blame for the dogs behavior. In some cases people want their pitt bull to appear aggressive not thinking that making a dog that way will come back to haunt them. It is ignorance on the owners behalf. I have had pitt bull terriers and i loved them. I would have trusted them with my life as well as my children. It was rules and laws that made me give up my babies.
