so i am trying to make a rim for a motorcycle, 17inch diamater, so i can attach the spokes to it and weld to it instead of the aluminum stock ones. how hard would it be to get a circle doing this?
The point of this lesson grasshopper is you can use a winch attached to the ceiling to bend heavy stock if you can secure it to the ground. This allows you to use a rosebud torch without heating up a worktable or hossfeld type bender.
do you calculate the neutral axe the same way as we do with normal plate ? always wondering what is the math for W, Channel and Angle

i didn't see the channel ...looked like plate to me..

The piece I was heating was channel facing downward. I applied most of the heat to the sides.
That would be some serious plate if it was.
