  • The shirt is cute!

  • I just did mini twists yesterday! Maybe I will do this when it starts looking a little rough! :) It was my first time doing mini twist myself in over a year.... My arms hated me!

  • @DatNaturalChick haha! I know the feeling!! Thanks for watching! :0)

  • I got my pointers for wrapping my hair from Naptural85 and it works. I was also horrible at wrapping my hair when it was relaxed.

  • Big hair roller on the top. Anyway you got it

  • Mini twists still look fresh and cute!! You've actually inspired me to put some mini twists in my hair. Oh and yes, I also love the shirt!! :)

  • I LOVE UR SHIRT!!!!!

  • Awww... you kinda remind me a little bit of Stacey Dash except you are natural... you even sound like her a bit. Love your vids by the way oh and if you don't mind me asking what program do you use to edit your videos with.

  • @AngeLSophisticate Hey there!! :0) I use Power Director 8. I also have Camtasia. It's supposed to be better, but I don't know how to use that one yet. I purchased it months ago, but I'm so used to Power Director, I haven't switched over! lol! Thanks for watching!! :0)

  • Do you have advice on doing much shorter mini twist and transitioing hair? My new growth is almost an inch long, but I still have relaxed ends so my twists don't natural curl at the end when I twist my finger around them but they just poke straight.

  • @JendayiHamilton You can try to twist your hair and then roll the ends around a sponge roller, or a perm rod or something like that. That way your hair will curl at the end. It may not last as long as if your hair was 100% natural, but it will help stop them from sticking straight. Let me know how it goes. :0)

  • When you wrap your hair like that it's helps to add water while your doing it..... it helps with the stretching process

  • Still looking good.

  • i absolutely love that shirt LOL! I once tried mini twist and wind up with frizzy notted hair after a week :( I will try again when my hair gets longer. Happy New Year!

  • The shirt was great! You did a good wrap job. It stretched it out nicely.

  • I love your shirt! I can't wait until my hair is your length. It looks great!

  • I'm glad it worked out for you. That's what I do all the time. :)

  • Also, thanks for the video as always. Good job. Still looking out for more exercise videos.

  • My hair is much shorter than yours and most YouTubers I see doing mini twists. Are there any vids or advice for shorter mini twists. Mine only last two weeks at best. They start getting frizzy at the top and new growth makes them look pretty bad after two weeks. I want to keep them for a month.

  • @GerrydeanE - I think the longer the twists are, the longer they lasts. I used to do mini twists and they would get super frizzy as well. My twists are still frizzy at the top, it's just not as easy to tell because the twists are longer. It will get better as your hair gets longer! Oh yeah! More exercise videos coming soon!! Promise! :0) I have 2 already recorded! *bigsmile* Thanks for watching!! :0)

  • your as cute as a button

  • your as cute as a button

  • great job on the rapping.... they turned out great! nice shirt!!

  • Omg your twist are pretty! Love the shirt

  • LOVE THE SHIRT! and the twists!

  • i absolutely love your mini twist before and after! i did my semi mini twist last night. i did not have patience to do it like yours. i will try it again! Where did you buy your shirt from? that shirt is so funny. i love it! thanks for posting this vid!

  • Does your hair shed alot after mini twist when took mine my hair kept shedding for 3 or 4 days no matter how I moisturize it

  • @diamondcutharvey69 Yes, my hair does too. It's ok though. Keep in mind that your hair sheds on a daily basis and while your hair is in twists, the shed hair has no where to go. So when you take the twists out, then it might seem like your hair is shedding a lot. But really its a mix of old shed hair and new shed hair. Nothing to worry about! :0) Thanks so much for watching!

  • nice..a little while longer and I will be at that length, I can't wait to mini twist as I love having braids and little to no manipulation to my hair...but haven't had braids since beginning of summer and just dealing with my own hair, it has been great, but alas I still can't wait to mini twist...

  • Love the shirt too :-)

  • LOVE the shirt!!!!!

  • ur pretty :)

  • love the video response..as it looked like it oworked...and I'd also like to say "thank you for replying" but I have to say..after seeing the same response "thanks for watching"...although I know its authentic..it seems more "automatic"...nonetheless I appreciate and will watch nonetheless....but the "thanks for watching" means less to me when i see it automatically for :a-l-l" comments.....luv u none the less/fact one of my favorites.....much luv

  • @LuScioUsKiNks - Maybe she personally takes the time to write "Thanks for watching" on all comments because she really is thankful each and every viewer is watching? I guess she doesn't have to reply at all? I don't know.....Is there a such thing as an auto response in you tube?

  • @LuScioUsKiNks I was raised to say thank you when people are kind to me, so I bring that to my YT channel. I truly appreciate each and every viewer, and comment. I chose to say thank you as my closing remarks, after my response, instead of my name, or ttyl, or anything like that. If it was automatic, then I'd respond with a simple 'thanks for watching' to every single comment, but there is no auto response. So I will continue to take the time to write thanks when ever I can.

  • I have micro twists right now too and I band mine in sections at night to help keep them stretched. It looks like wrapping really helped yours. :-)

  • love the shirt! where'd you buy it?

  • Braids work best to stretch mini twists, IMO...

  • i had to thumbs up just for the shrit. :) oh the hair iz good too.

  • nice tip....i normally just braid the twists in about 4 big sections. that stretches for me as well!

  • The beginning was good. Work on the outer area like the edges first. When u get to the crown just pull it to stretch and pin. Don't worry about continuing the circle.

  • Cute shirt & hair. ☻

  • ooh I have Suggestion: at the top of the wrap/"beehive" where the circumference (lol Nerdy alert!0) of your head is less I would take those pieces & pull them either forward like bangs & pin them or either down- It gives great stretch due to the pulling & pinning. Also another No heat stretching solution is the infamous low ponytail requiring lite pinning for the sides that may be too short then taking ur ends & putting them into one big twist or jointly pin them upward- This is my easy fave!

  • @ACmmoore - Nice!! I'll try that! I'll make sure to watch out for the 'circumference', and pin those pieces down!! lol! I understood perfectly!! haha! Thanks so much for watching! :0)

  • I appreciate how at the end of each comment reply u say "thanks for watching!" and I'd just like to say "thanks for replying! :0"

  • @ACmmoore Aaww... Thanks so much :0) ... And ... Thanks for watching! *bigsmile*

  • Awesome tip. Thanks for sharing. The twists look great! :)

  • OAN: Naptural85 has a great mini twist maintenance demo on her page.....love watching both of y'all!

  • that shirt is awesome!

  • Omg I have a shirt that says that too...mine looks different tho lol

  • where is the shirt from?

  • Have you put any products on you twists since you put them in? I really want to do this but my hair is super thirsty and my scalp gets dry from working out... Help!

  • Where'd u get the shirt?

  • love the shirt!!! great vid!

  • i like how your twists aren't stick straight and they kinda have a wave too it! if only my twists did that :)

  • @Aerogirl530 - They can!! :0) What I usually do is braid my mini twists before bed. As if I was doing a braid out or something. That usually keeps them stretched out and makes them wavy! Try it the next time you have twists in!! :0) Thanks for watching!

  • I thought your hair looked cute the way it was.

  • love ur shirt too (^_^) .... u have a cute smile as well... too bad i cannot keep my hair in a twist during the winter time, it makes my hair too thirsty :(

  • Happy New year!! Your twist looks great!! You look like Kimmaytube and remind me of her as well:)

  • I suggest you check out Naptural85's channel and she shows you how to wrap your twists at night to stretch them;

  • I had the same problem a few days ago with my twists. I used the tension method with my blow dryer and it worked well. Simply grab small sections of twists and gently pull on them as you run the hot air over your hair. Good luck!

  • Great results!! I love the shirt too!

  • Comment removed

  • I will try that method :)

  • I love the shirt too..lol!! and the video of course :D

  • @JennieLeonidas - Isn't it so cute!! lol! Thanks so much for watching! :0)

  • They look beautiful! No need to take them down now LOL. Did you try doing 2 big cornbraids to stretch? That wrap worked too, whatever's easier...

  • @007newnew - Great idea! I'll have to try that! Thanks for watching! :0)

  • 5:00 looking all gangsta with the headband and the hoodie! the glasses too of course haha

  • @meyzin90 lol! haha! Thanks for watching! :0)
