@Lyrica81 I've been natural since May 2010 & my hair is now in the middle of my back. I didn't chop it off it just grew out. She has a straighter curl. My hair is her length, but when it's curly its to my ears! Your natural hair may not look like hers, but it will be beautiful I'm sure! To be natural all u need to do is stop getting perms, cut your ends every six wks & ur hair will grow like crazy! :) I'm very happy with my natural hair even if it's frizzy at times hope u will be too!

@frankifromnyc she doesn't wash her hair everyday. if you watch more of her vids you would see her mentioning having 2-3 day hair which means that her curls and hold have lasted longer than 1 day. so please don't wash their hair everyday. For my hair, I'll wash it one weekend then about 3 days later I'll just rinse my hair with water ONLY then put in some conditioner just to keep in moisture. Water is a naturals best friend.

I have a question. I'm sure this doesn't happen to you but maybe you have some pointers nonetheless. I started using the Kinky Curly Curling Custard two days ago, and after following the Thick Coarse Curls instructions on the back EXACTLY, I find that this product really works on my hair. But..then there's the roots. I put product on my roots but once they dry, the texture is so much different from the rest of my hair. It's very frizzy and a lot kinkier than the rest. How can I prevent this?
