I went to a workshop/concert last year near here- she was thoughtful, gracious, and a fine player. Too few people attended the workshop, and she took the time to chat a bit with everyone.
This is an awesome performance. thanks DS88. I just found out she is touring in Europe (Holland, Germany, Switzerland and France) right now until March15. Muriel is awesome, watch her expressions when she plays the lower section.
I was at this show. She has a classical background but also a great sense of on-stage humor, maybe from taking mandolin lessons from Jethro Burns of Homer & Jethro. Anybody who has a chance to see her play should go for it.

I saw her in San Jose CA and she put on a great show. She did a master class the next day, it was a treat to hear her comments and approach to music.
