It used to be that zionism was distinct from Judaism. Google the WZO. Zionism was once an extremist faction, no one thought it was possible to claim Palestine around 1900. But rich Jews (Rothschilds) financed settlers before then, due to Jewish problems in eastern europe. They were smart and calculating, they deserve credit, Israel did not happen overnight. This is an excellent video about the story of the Palestinian people from Yaffa. I am very happy to see successful and established Palestinians in Lebanon and around the world. Most Lebanese don't realize that the wealthiest and most successful people in Beirut were Palestinians, not Lebanese!
