  • lol @ info: NES Konami Castlevania

and the picture clearly shows Super Castlevania 4 on the SNES^^

  • too many channels for nes but still good!

  • My favourite part is 0:35 to :52, and here it was executed perfectly.

  • some of the beeps are either too close or too far apart from each other

  • How did simon go from being a Blonde hair buff awsome guy, to a Red hair, furry jacket wearing faggot!???

  • @superlink235 I've been wondering the same thing :(

  • @superlink235 blame konami

  • @superlink235 Ever since Symphony of the Night, at which point Castlevania became more "anime." Urgh, I miss the old days.

  • @superlink235

Yeah i like to remember him as he was designed in the first games. To hell with that anime style crap. Simon used to look like the type of a guy who can make the job done ,and it takes a hell of a hero to take hordes of the undead, Deth himself and Dracula without pants :)

  • Hella better than the Bloodlines remix.

  • Simon talks by WHIPPING IT GOOD

  • was this fan made done by hand?

  • I would like to hear SunSoft Bass in this song.

  • awesome dude !!!!!!

  • this should've been in castlevania.....the first one.

  • this + Castlevania 1 = Epic Win !

  • Sounds very NES-like. Would love to see someone put this in a Castlevania ROM hack.

  • @wayne62682 Sounds like nees but with a Snes box in the picture :P

  • Nice!

  • DISCO TIME.

    unnf unnf unnf unnf unnf

  • is says nes and then its a picture of a SNES game O_o

  • Simons Theme is a song from a SNES game ^^

  • i know that Simons theme is from a snes game, just remarking that the title is NES CASTLEVANIA - Simon's Theme. And that they have a SNES game on the pic

  • Yeah, the point is that a music from a SNES game is remade into a NES version.

  • this is freakin sick!

  • It took me a bit to figure it out, but this isn't Simon's Theme from Super Castlevania IV. It's the version from Portrait of Ruin, reworked to sound good with NES synths. :/

    Still impressive though. ^^;;

  • I'd have to say the Portrait of Ruin is my personal favorite version though.

  • How do you know it's not the Bloodlines version?

  • 0:08 - 0:19

This segment is taken exactly from the Portrait of Ruin version. The Bloodlines version has a slightly different "bridge" between the familiar opening, and the main theme. :/

I don't hear the extension from Portrait though, so that could've been cut out, but this SHOULD be the Portrait of Ruin version. :x

  • Feels like the X68000 version to me.

  • Could be. Now that I think about it carefully, I'm fairly certain the PoR arrangement was based off of the X68000 version, but it was the first one that came to mind, since I hadn't played my copy of Chronicles in ages. :x

  • Actually this version is based off the version used on the Dracula MIDI Collection CD.

  • Whoops, scratch that.

The Portrait of Ruin version is based off the MIDI Collection CD version.

  • WOW This is cool! It is awsome the way it is sounding on the NES system.

  • you, sir, are an idiot.

  • Spambot.

  • one word, four letters, begins with "e" and ends with "c".

  • Epic

  • "Epoch"

    wait

  • please tell, me, how do you made this?!

Thats epic! I must know, how do you do this!

  • Wow. You've done the impossible. You took a midi and made an NES remix without having it sound like a trainwreck... How do you do it?

  • Simon no tenia tema en las versiones de NES esta es un midi.

This is a midi song, Simon dont have theme on the NES

  • He made this song buddy

  • GIVE. ME. URL. FOR. THIS!!!

  • Awesome m8!!!

  • kicks ass

  • i need this song to complete my collection of simon theme!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm going to Cosplay as Simon at A.W.A. !!!

  • simon doesn't talk

  • lmao!

  • @pokemaniac9 neither did sonic, untill... things happened at sega... :(

  • @323Cooldude if you didn't like sonic and eggman's voice in the sonic adventure games, you have no soul. his new voice is shit though and im all cool with you dissing it

  • @pokemaniac9 simon talks with his actions and kickass music

  • @pokemaniac9

Well... he does, we just don't hear it in the games, cuz 8bit games are limited to bleeps and beeps .-P

But this music in the video sounds awesome.

  • @pokemaniac9 he talks through awesome music!!

  • @pokemaniac9 he does now hahahahaahaha

  • @pokemaniac9 He does in Judgement.

  • @pokemaniac9 just like gordon freeman! :O

  • very nice, I think raising the bass volume inbetween the lead parts would make it a bit more balanced.

  • only, that's impossible for NES. The triangle wave has fixed volume: that's the loudest it can play.

    I like this version.

  • unless the drums are also fixed that's easy to solve.

  • castle-f**king-vania!! but this is x68k ver of the song. still awesome.

  • This is technically from the x68000 castlevania/castlevania chronicles, not snes.

    But still sounds nice.

  • well it's transplated from Portrait of Ruin, not X86K cause X86K is different, you can hear it on my profile

  • FM..producing psg?

    i dont think so

  • oh my god. I love you forever. have my babies

  • Mine too!

  • Nice Job!

  • Nice, Simon Belmont FTW!

  • Damn! Simon's theme sounds awesome in true 8-Bit.

    =D
