  • what is that: A mandolin neck on a banjo body?(but sound great^^)

  • @Patrishaify - it's a banjo-mandolin. the original weapon of mass-destruction.

  • Brilliant.

  • very good!

  • You guy's are dead on, perfect! Makes ya wanna clap your hands and stomp your feet......

  • Thank you, I am going to talk with frankie about recording some Walker's Corbin Ramblers tunes for your uncle Lurry.

  • That would be fantastic bro! Looking forward to that. I'll make sure my dad see's you guy's too. Thanks a lot.......

  • we got plans, Darrell... been thinking myself ot taking a crack at your uncle's reading of Matchbox Blues... maybe one of these days!

  • I was hoping you would do the matchbox blues. You sure have the talent for it. Can't wait to hear you bro!!

  • Play it long time boys! 5* of course. Not sure I've heard any Scottdale Stringband tunes before. Are they on Old Hat?

  • they are out there, forget what label. I got some on a Joe Bussard tape "Early Mandolin classics" some on JSP Serenade in the Mountains (including this) and some on Juneberry.

  • you can definitely get all of it from juneberry, but you have to pony up for the data DVD - not a bad idea to get all of 'em, really... a ridiculous amount of music.

  • good time music ;-)

  • I searched for carbolin and found this.

  • serves you right, you miscreant!
