Do you really know that much? I've done countless hours of reading and studying too, but I can never be sure what is real. The winners write history and sometimes that means whoever managed to profit. Sometimes to profit is all you need, and even in WWII the finances were shady, as if we're fighting ourselves. I don't know what's "true" but our involvement in virtually every war seems extremely questionable.

Hey, sometimes war is necessary. Do recognize that this was probably written during the Vietnam War. 'Nam was still a very interesting military conflict; however, a lot of people including myself disagreed with the purpose of it. You'd think that, with all of the films made in the '80s and legends like this making music about it, we'd learn. Iraq, Afghanistan, the entire War On Terror. We were pulling out of Vietnam, a conflict that I do not agree with but do have a strong interest in, and culturally, the youth began to thing differently. Of course, there was the counterculture of the '60s, then was the disco, funk, and reggae-era of the '70s. You obviously haven't been doing your research. Do you really know that much? I've done countless hours of reading and studying too, but I can never be sure what is real. The winners write history and sometimes that means whoever managed to profit. Sometimes to profit is all you need, and even in WWII the finances were shady, as if we're fighting ourselves. I don't know what's "true" but our involvement in virtually every war seems extremely questionable.

I mean, think of how larger the death counts of victims of concentration camps and Japanese slaughters there would have been had we not gotten involved any sooner.
