Yur control setup works for me buy i still cant cancel fast at all but charging is ok i just hold down while hold down while holding X so its like Budokai 3

is equal to 2000 damage or alot of teleporting and dodging which makes fatigue increase faster. I never have a problem with fatigue because i win 99% of my fights and am very aggressive

What a weird setup o.O I just use my index finger for the kick, my middle finger for R1 and ring finger for R2, the whole left buttons I don't use, only for charging up.

Cancel, P and E with my thumb :) normal control options, but C and D changed position (I think).

yes, i got bored of using the standard setup so i been using this one for a lil over a year now. I find it pretty suitable and some beginners who watched this seem to like it better over the default controls for some reason. I think they prefer the shoulder buttons to cancel

Well its going a little better for me, but things like for Goku ->R S ~ S (guard) SRRRR pspwise, don't work so well for me. can you show a demonstration of you doing that?

well my psp is dead lol, i need to get a new one ^.^ just keep practicing, it will come to you over time but don't try to do it fast from the start or u will get frustrated. Only go at a speed u r comfortable with then slowly pick up

psp's are not very solid per say, a dualshock is a much better controller for gaming. Hopefully those new psp that are coming out soon got better buttons.

I mean when I try to use the cancel on time other commands go in other than what I'm looking for. I've even tired to trick my psp by supposedly "ghosting the required commands. I can cancel.. I just can't continue a combo after the first cancel. It makes me cry ='[

Oh, and err... the added characters feel really pathetic, and their special attacks don't even have a balance meter. It's just... if you're hit by it, you're hit by it. No reducing damage or anything like that. It's just the laziness that has me, man. It's not a terrible game, or even a bad game, it's just rushed is all. Baby's character model looks like a joke and GT Vegeta isn't even necessary. Small things here and there, y'know?

Get Budokai 3 HD remastered and give it online, perhaps? Sounds fucking sick to me. I know this is IW, but I don't like IW as much as I like B3. B3 was much more solid, in my opinion. Great video, though. It helped me out a bit.

how was it more solid though? Is the same game with different combos and this one is faster. However the other had more like beam struggle and rpg elements with leveling and such so it had more replayability

@underlordtico The controls felt tighter. I mean, it's obvious this game was rushed, but I've seen rushed games turn out good, but this one, to me, didn't come out that way. I like Budokai 3, and I like the Shin Budokai games, but I don't like how they tried to mix the two. I'd rather have them separate since they have such drastic differences. If they ever make a Budokai 4, I wouldn't want it to derive from this.

the controls in budokai 3 were worse, they were more stiff and the movement was slow. If you ever play the greatest hits/collector's edition of budokai 3 is as fast as infinite world in movement but still has delayed button inputs which is a nuisance. I can play the regular b3 like if it was easy mode cause it is so slow, more speed means you need to be faster to do everything and that makes more dbz feel.

Shin budokai was good, all IW is missing is ki cancelling

I never paid much attention to the name of the mechanics, but the boosting around, etc, and how hyper specials don't require Dragon Rush anymore. It's just... it's not that I can't adapt to the game, I can, I just prefer it the other way. It felt more tasteful and well-thought out. I hope I don't offend you by saying that, though.

honestly i would take away dragon rush and make it a mini game by itself, it was a waste of time in a real fight and it did too much damage for being a simple rock paper scissors mini game. Only thing I miss from B3 is beam struggles which idk why they were kept out of IW.

those are ultimates. Pros don't use ultimates unless they are as a finisher, it was a developer choice to make these ultimates nonblockable when executed but their damage is kinda bad and if used in a combo their damage is buffered nearly to 1 damage so is no big deal.

I only care about gameplay, not the other stuff

Sure, it's not deep, and the graphics are horrid, but you DO feel like you're having a DBZ battle, and THAT'S what matters!

i think tenkaichi 3 has the best dbz feel imo, is rly fast paced. Even though the game is not very deep per say and very easy to spam cause you only have 1 real attack button which in turn creates button mashing the game is rly fast paced and you can do about anything you do in the anime
