  • Any landing you walk away from is a good one.lol

  • Please, I've seen WAY worse, that's not that bad. Especially considering, I'm assuming, you were just starting to learn.

  • LoL, I bet this landing is talked about all around the world and unfortunately you get the bsload dropped on you...lol, snicker, I enjoyed it probably more cuz of the landing...I thought I was landing a jet on my Microsoft FSX program! lol. Stay safe and post more!

  • Did u pay for 1 or 2 ldg.???

  • RICHGUYMAG

What you are experiancing is comments from Sexual intellectuals F-N - know it all"s! Turn you comments off next time ! I enjoyed your video ! Thank you! You're not flying a fricken 172 ,you're in an A 700 sounds like Jeolusy to me!

  • Centerline! Too high!

  • Not a safe landing, but you still touched down quite soft.

  • Never mind badkharma 101, he's just being an idiot, from another pilot, just keep trying. That said, truthfully speaking this really wasn't safe at all, next time just go around. Happy Landings

  • Go around? Yeah he was a bit high over the numbers but there was pleanty of runway left.

  • It was fine for first time. I hope adam aircraft gets out of bankruptcy, they make what seems to be nice aircraft. Maybe you could help them out richguy!

  • Awsome landing unlike the other people I have to admit that it was your first time and no one can land perfectly on the runway with their first try...nice recovery!

  • I would love to fly that plane, looks awesome. Were you trying to save money by not going around though ;) ? I have to admit that was a pretty good save with a high approach. Looked difficut, still you ended up on center with no damage! A OK landing is one you can walk away from... :)

  • Bit too high but hey it wasn't a disaster.

  • Hey I fly once in a while as a passenger. It looked good to me.

  • Fuck that, He's a grown ass man. Both. If they want to roll the dice and have another accident due to pilot error it only makes me that much more confident. Otherwise, yank it around and have fun if you dont care.

  • wtf buddy, please go around next time. If you weren't PIC, then whoever was shouldn't have let something this dangerous occur. Im sorry, but this is just NOT safe.

  • my god dude what a horrible approach. I'm a pilot and this is the last thing we need. Next time go around. For what it's worth, it's not really possible to make "much worse" landings in a 172 and even if it was, you demonstrate from this video that you have no business being in the sky.

  • As a pilot you then understand the difference between pilot in command and pilot flying. I was no pilot in command.

  • nice plane but who the hell lands like that? I take it you just bought your license...

Thats the first time i've seen a light aircraft cover as much runway as an a320

  • I love all these comments, made by armchair pilots who've never taken control of a real aircraft. The reality is, I've made much worse landings in a 172 during training.

This video is a testament of how easy the A700 can actually recover from un desirable approach configurations.

  • lol armchair pilot? I thought name calling was for kids? and what are you basing that on?... the reality is you just suck at landings, im sorry but its evident, just review your own video maybe... i dont know, if i hurt your feelings then im sorry but seriously... money doesnt buy you competancy sir! And its a clear fact that if everyone is saying that you suck at landings then you suck at landings PERIOD!

  • You should think about changing your name to DeadGuy if you keep "flying" like that. You should have your license kanked for doing something stupid like that. I don't care if the pilot did say "land it." I agree with Penskerbean, go around.

  • Crazy Approach:/

  • I want to fly in your plane

  • That was a good recovry, however like the other comments, the best option would have been to go around. A few more minutes in the air might cost some more on fuel and time, but it could save your lives and those on the ground. If you were having trouble on that, the company pilot should have taken over the landing well before then and landed it himself or assisted. It's never good to gamble like that, you could have been close to becoming another statistic.

  • Totally agree

  • That landing scared the crap out of me, all I could think was, THERE IS NO WAY HE IS GOING TO LAND UNLESS HE DIVES FOR THE RUNWAY!! , and you did. Dont ever do that again, no matter who tells you to land, its way to risky.

  • crazy approach but good on the last 50 ft. reminds me of my FSX landings sometimes.

  • two words, "go around". not that bad of a landing but risky to say the least.

    nice recovery though.

  • Fine landing...

What flying experience do you have?

  • this looks like Centennial Airport in Englewood, CO. I used to work there for Tac Air FBO.

  • Good way to bust a new airplane. Should have gone around and avoided the risk on that high rate of decent that low to the ground. Glad it worked out for you though.

  • Company pilot said "land it" so I did. Goes to show you how forgiving the plane is.

  • Hey, I like it... it was an exciting landing...

  • Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

A little rough, a little high, but it's all good.

  • what is the minimum age you have to be to take flying lessons

  • You can start any age, can't fly solo til 17, pilot in command at 18.

  • Actually, you can solo a glider or balloon at 14, but must be 16 for anything else (student pilot certificate eligibility requirements). To exercise pilot-in-command privileges with someone other than your instructor on board, you must be 16 for gliders and balloons and 17 for anything else (private pilot certificate.)

You can take lessons whenever you want to.

  • You can get a student pilot certificate at 14 for gliders and balloons or for anything else at age 16. To get a private pilot certificate you must be 16 for gliders and balloons and 17 for everything else.

  • Damn it... the comments didn't show up when I refreshed it. I apologize. ;)

  • no big, had my sound turned down

  • go around and try again ;)

  • If you listen closely you can hear me say "Go around" and Test pilot says "No, just land it" hahaha so I did.
