Its his property man, he can do whatever he wants. Tesla coils are relatively safe if done under the supervision of an experienced person, the majority of people that do these things are in the electrical trade anyways.

If the world lived by your logic then I would assume we would never drive cars or even fly for that matter. Because statistically you would be more likely to die from that then a a Tesla coil. Why don't you fight something more constructive, like meth labs themselves or drunk drivers perhaps. Don't take your aggressions out of practically harmless science projects.

I really don't understand why you are so disgruntled about a tesla coil. You amaze me man, like you have nothing better to do then to piss up someones tree.
Next thing you will tell me is that people shouldn't put up Christmas lights unless they are trained professionals. In all reality a strand of 120v lights has a higher current then the secondary of a tesla coil, meaning one shoddy job in hanging a strand could end in the death of some innocent bystander.

Um, actually I have and know of people that put on shows on the 4th of July and New Years eve for the neighborhood. The parents and kids absolutely love the show. They are all made well aware of the precautionary safety measures we have to take. Including a safety perimeter so that there is no way a child or adult can be injured by the equipment.
And watch the video you twit, he has a fence, the fact that the neighbor entered his yard is a clear violation, in that he TRESSPASSED.

Wrong, you need to check the law, property owners are aloud to use reasonable force to remove trespassers, there was a court case not long back were a bloke broke an intruders leg and was found innocent.

The closed and latched gate should have been protection enough for that dipshit neighbor. If you came into MY yard while I was operating a coil I would let it run just so you could see why the fucking gate was shut in the first place.
And tough shit if it pisses off a neighbor, the only thing he can gripe about is the noise. And most counties have no laws regulating that until after 11. A coil is no louder than a lawn mower. In fact, in most cases, less noisy.
