RobGoth100: What do you mean "informed on the fans of his book"? Did the FBI investigate his fans? How many people is that? Most important, what are your sources, please. Wouldn't such an investigation--aside from being incredibly expensive and unconstitutional--be antithetical to the intentions of the Congressional HUAC committee and the FBI? Please explain. "Shortly after the 1941 German invasion of the Soviet Union, [reprints of the book were suspended...until after] the war. After receiving letters...requesting...the book, Trumbo contacted the FBI and turned these letters over to them... Trumbo regretted this decision... after two FBI agents showed...'their interest lay not in the letters but in me.' " Not comparable to HUAC.

Trumbo informed on the fans of his book Johhny Got His Gun in 1941 to the FBI and urged J. Edgar Hoover's G-Men to investigate them.

I wonder how many of the actors who have their panties in a twist in the vid are aware of that fact. My guess is zero.
