I agree. Performing embarrassing and humiliating acts is usually the entertainment for most these shows. I'm always curious as to why people volunteer and how they felt about what they did while hypnotized.

Yes, it is. By affecting your expectations and with pre and post-hypnotic suggestions, hypnotists can make subjects feel they had a great time even if they pretended to have sex with a chair while an audience laughed at them. I'd never volunteer for hypnosis stage show.

and dude, people like having fun on stage sometime. Everyone can't walk around with their heads down all the time, fearing for their reputation. People embarrass themselves all the time, and have fun with it, even if their face is a little red.
LOL the girl in black kept coming out of trance when he said "favorite position" but went back under for a short time during second round but came out at same time.

Hypnotists also use post hypnotic suggestions to affect how people will feel. i.e. telling people that they will remember having a really good time.
