One of many great tracks to Space Night (aKa Earth Views) shown on Satellite via Deutschland back in the 1990's. Often used to watch this midnight onwards after been a little baked and pretty mellow. Used to be great just to relax, watch earth from space and listening to all the ambient themes which blended in nicely into the entire video, AWESOME! can't get tired watching it even after 12-13 years later....

Great post I use to love watching this show on Sky late at night, brilliant concept looking back at Earth listening to mellow chillout music, there used to be other shows with a car cam and a train cam but they were'nt as good as Spacenight, love it.

I did,a friend in Germany got the soundtrack for me.

My satellite no longer has the BR channel and I miss Spacenight!

Awesome. I'm glad they showed the track titles too. Germans had this, and Viva Zwei turned cool in 1998, or so I've read. Apart from the dubbed programs, it woulda been great to live in Germany back in the 90s.

From Finland, actually. I discovered Viva Zwei when it ran on a ''testing channel'' of a kind, where they had a different channel every month. I got to watch it in October '98, June '99, and March '00, and was very impressed. SNEV I discovered on YT, tho.

so the broadcasting was terminated in 2K or 2k1

Actually, Viva Zwei was taken off the air early in January 2002. That's what my Italian friend told me, as I didn't get to watch it.
