This is not detailed enough, even in the Triology.

Everyone keeps saying, "spring the cards, spring the cards" but everyone knows!

The act of springing the cards everyone does is for the cards to come off the thumb, while the pressure fan like this spring the cards off the index, middle and ring fingers.

And I can't even do it the way it should be. The tutorial needs to be more detailed.
