  • What's so wrong about trying to save Whales and promote a healthier ecology anyway? You'd swear some of the people posting on YouTube WANT animals to suffer and want the food chain to collapse. All the creeps keep calling the Shepherds crazy for believing in something. Believing in helping and saving animals from suffering, instead of believing in nothing but money!

    Such indecency is staggering.

They're NONviolent. If they used violence, the factory ship would be at the bottom!!!

  • Captain Fat, You and Michael Moore should share your pubic lice. You should go stick your obese head up a sperm whales bung hole.

  • The Sea Shepherds are ECO-WARRIORS, not eco-terrorists!

They're not eco-terrorists if they're the ones trying to assist in the ecology's preservation.

It's like having two people: one is burning trees, the other is trying to put the fires out.

    Which is the "eco-terrorist"?

  • @info145 well the FBI has labeld them as eco-terrorists. not ECO-WARRIORS.

i hope seal team 6 kills paul watson soon

  • shut up too fat ass.

    you should stop eat beer.

    sea shepherd is stupid.

    everybody knows.

    die low IQ

  • @bewegungfalsche Oh my....someone please screen capture this dumbass's comment. Paul Watson is my hero.

  • Murder is murder damn right you go Paul!

  • Anti-santa

  • Environmentalism is has one fundamental problem: it assumes that life will be a permanent fixture on Earth which can only be harmed by human beings. Actually, organic life on this planet has been doomed since well before the dawn of man... In 10,000-20,000 Years, we will experience an ice age that will kill many species. In 200million yrs, plate techtonics will shut down. In 6 Billion years, the earth will be engulfed by the sun and reduced to ash.

With or without humans, life will die.

  • @adammar5hall So is it ok for now just to kill everything off?

  • @carnypimp

I would not bother spending effort to defend any species unless their utility to humans prioritizes it. Consider the horse shoe crab: its unique blood has given rise to may medical applications which have saved countless lives. Saving that species for future generations will mean more human lives saved.

  • @adammar5hall I do not give a shit about human life big f..n deal. I think the wolves deserve to be all over the United States like they where before the asshole English came over and killed them off. You think its cool to just say screw everything unless it saves humans LMAO. People get sick all the time because animals are over poplulated the predators use to kill.

  • @carnypimp

I find it quite strange that you really don't care about human life... something tells me that if a close human friend of yours were in some kind of pain, you would feel something for him or her.

  • @adammar5hall Yes I would but i'm trieng to make it a point that we as humans have destroyed nature and we should go back to respecting it and stop over populating and getting rid of predators that are perfect for balance. People are not part of the eco-system we screw it up.

  • @carnypimp

The eco-system does not exist in perfect balance. Events that destroy species by the thousand will occur with or without human intervention. The eco-system is chaos, like the universe at large.

Where was the "balance" in the Permian-Triassic extinction event? "Order" and "balance" are terms that humans created, and they do not govern the universe.

  • @adammar5hall Nature did not destroy the wolf population, nature did not make beavers in yellowstone almost go extinct, nature did create the extinction of fish. People are not doing anything good for the eco-system by killing off animals. We can not prevent nature or the universe true. Why should we protect people for the future what makes are race so great we need to survive? We don't!

  • @carnypimp

You ask what makes our race so great that we need to survive? Well, as I mentioned to you before, the planet is not permanent. Of its own forces, it will be a rendered lifeless in several billion years.

The only thing on this planet with the power to change that is the human being. With the aid of our technology, we could "export" life to other planets. Someday, we may even leave our solar system.

Humanity is the only hope that Earth's life will not be outright extinguished.

  • @adammar5hall It will never happen as long as people throw religion in th way and stop progress. Just like the judge that stoped funding for stem cell research because he thought they where playing God i'm so glad he is fired. The United States will be left behind. Humanity has no hope with religion in the way.

  • @carnypimp

Religion is not itself a block to progress. Mystical thinking, often espoused by certain popular religions, is a block to progress, but it is hardly relegated to the theist worldview.

Often religions have encouraged knowledge. Literacy is highly valued in Hinduism and Judaism. Furthermore, rationalist, non-mystical Christians like Blaise Pascal and Isaac Newton advanced math and science greatly.

Scapegoating religion for the speed of progress is wrong.

  • @adammar5hall it seems as of late all republicans seems to use religion to block all great sceince advancements. Like Stem cell research, Nasa missions, and evolution studies. Since they are winning the elections it will go back to at least two years of setbacks for sceince or even more. Like we had with Bush. I hate to even use politics but it is an issue that is very serious. If Bush would have never been elected we would have had way more advancements. I agree not all religion is the problem.

  • @carnypimp

This is just more scapegoating. The two main political parties in this country are both making a mockery of the Constitution and doing nothing for the advancement of knowledge. Anyway, within the Rep. party, you'll find some who do not support the pro-life/anti-stemcell platform.

Authoritarian models of government are actively touted both parties and each holds back knowledge in its own way.

  • @carnypimp

One last thing... I must say I enjoy how civil our discourse has been... Lol, most YouTubers cuss out the person who disagrees with them. Feel free to add me as a friend or to message me.

I enjoy debating with people on the opposite side of the spectrum, because it keeps the mind sharp :)

  • @carnypimp

I do not doubt that humans were a primary factor in the eradication of these species, but I promise you that nature would have killed them off too. It might have taken several million years longer, but it would certainly happen.

You did not answer my question from before: "Where was the 'balance' in the Permian-Triassic extinction event?" What if that was caused by an anoxic event as one theory puts it? Isn't that a superior species wiping out all of the others?

  • @adammar5hall Ok I will refraise that maybe we don't need balance but let nature take its course not humans destroying it. Those extinctions where caused by events from space and nature totally different.

  • @carnypimp

Different? Extinctions are extinctions. New species will arise to fill newly opened niches. Suppose anthropogenic global warming is real; it is not only the end of life (maybe for humans), but also a beginning of newer and hardier forms of life in the oceans, air, and land.

If you want to make a case for protecting the planet, it can only be for the advancement of the human race and to diminish human suffering. Everything else is in nature is beyond our control.

  • @adammar5hall I dont have to make a case I can vote just like you. And Greene presidents and congress like the one we have at this moment does. As for holding back knowledge I hope you aint reffering to aleins. Becasue I think that is something the government should hold back. If you are not and you are just talking in general disregard my far out statement.

  • @carnypimp

When I spoke of holding back knowledge, I meant more along the lines of Clinton's IDEA and Bush's NCLB, both of which were ineffective federal impingements upon de-centralized models of education.

Finally, vote as you will, but it is folly to say "I don't have to make a case." We all must make our case and be subjected to the criticism of our peers. Without that, democracy doesn't work optimally.

  • @adammar5hall Wow a person who actually believes in democracy i'm about to faint. I'm not going to make my case because to be honest i'm not educated enough to. As for a civil arguement yes I enjoy it to. I only cuss people out and act like a idiot when they call me a communist and unamerican just because I don't agree with what they have to say.

  • @carnypimp And to be honest I don't like what Paul Watson is doing not because he is deffending whales because they way he is doing it is not legal and should mind his own business. He reminds me of the people who are C. citizens O. on P. patroll they are more like outlaws. If I had neighbor who sold dope and never bothered me about I don't give a crap what they do.

  • @carnypimp

As per the human race "imbalancing" the environment... the failure of one or more species due to the success of another is not only relegated to humans.

At the dawn of life on Earth, when Aerobic, oxygen-producing micro-organisms became successful, tens of millions of anaerobic species died! The green and blue world we live in was indeed created by an act of "global pollution" by those species which have evolved into algae, plants, etc.

  • Captain Paul Watson is Vegetarian? No, he is perfect carnivorous predator. Perfect Hypocrite. Complete racist. Order-violater. Peace-devastator.

  • Comment removed

  • "killing a whale is murder" - how about killing dhingos n kangaroos? and how many burgers n bacon butties has this bucket of lard shoved down his throat?

  • eco terrorism is the act of harming the environment. the japanese whalers are killing whales in large numbers.

  • Eco-terrorism usually refers to acts of terrorism, violence or sabotage committed in support of ecological, environmental, or animal rights causes against persons or their property.

  • An interview with terrorist.

  • eco terrorism is awesome

  • i love him.

  • is there a longer version of this?

  • Oh dear, he looks soooo stupid, I guess because he is.

  • Watson,you are not eco-terrorist,you are real terrorist,congratulations.

  • What are the charges to back up your insane claim?

  • human life = whale life.

    That's they think.Unbelievable thinking.

And Japanese...You class japanese lower than whales. The Japanese kill whales then they are in anger lol

    What a racism uh?Formidable

  • antiseashepherd2: They don't think human life EQUALS a whale life. They think human life is LESS than a whale life. That makes them worse. Watson hates humans and calls them Aids of the Earth and should be reduced by 85%. They are "extreme" in their thinking and everyone else must agree. Watson is picking on the Japanese now but he's actually racist against all humans. "Extremists" like Watson hates anything humans do with animals including using them as pets, food, research etc..

  • spincontrol7 :thank you I think I could get some.

But not be able to accept these ideas.

  • You must check my channel for AIDS info. Watson is right when he says we are over populated. Racism is behold in the eyes of xenophobic. They don't think human life is less than a whale, they say they are ready to sacrifice their human lives for the whales.

  • Sorry fucktard, rascism is objective loser; it is not "in the eyes of the beholder". Watson has consistently campaigned against immigration laws in Canada. Why? Because he doesn't want "the browns" living there. He doesn't think they should be permitted to live on this planet. The man is a notorious racist, which makes you a deluded, credulous moron.

  • and may i ask where you heard this? it's funny that you actually believe that.

  • that is not the idea. as most environmentalists, he is frustrated with the lack of morality and compassion in people. it is easy to see selfishness in people, but all animals exhibit selflessness. it is gratifying to fight for living creatures that actually are thankful for positive change. we are not seeing human life as equal to all others, but we see that we are below them in the eyes of nature. we naturally destroy. and whales, along with EVERY other species', survival directly affects us.

  • THANK YOU! sincerely. well put.

  • ehhhh what the fuck are you talking about? Sorry, but you are a fucking ass clown. Animals survive by extreme "selfishness" you idiot; this ranges from killing the young of competitors, scavaging kills from other predators, claiming terrirtory, etc. You are a high order moron who has drunk long and deep of the eco-kool aid. Watson has zero compassion of any kind; the man believes that millions of people should be killed to satisfy his ideas of the correct human population. Grow up idiot.

  • I feel killing a beef and eating a beef meet is also the conduct of terroism.

I must learn from him how I sould react to beef eaters!!

If he eats beef meet, first of all I must act against him.

  • he is actually vegan. moron.

  • watch?v=bW_eskpBYMQ&fmt=18

    Sea Shepherd is Terrorist.

  • not "beef meet" but "beef meat" !!!!!!!!!

  • is this it? a little short

  • Boycott whale murderer, dolphin executor Evil and barbaric Japan.

  • The killing of any animal is NOT murder!!!

Murder is defined as: 'a crime of unlawfully killing a person with malice.'

A human being can no more murder an animal than an animal can murder a human being. When was the last time you ever read of a shark or lion murdering a human being? Well, the answer is NEVER. Because words have specific meanings. They are not for politically correct purposes.

  • you have a good point there.

  • Excellent. Wish we could have seen the whole interview.

  • My heart with you Paul Watson

    Peace and Love

    Roxy

  • what a fag.

  • What a gay comment.

  • Well said Paul Sea Shepherd. Whaling is sick. Whalers are nothing less than terrorists. Keep up the good work...

  • Of course the japanese whaling fleet is eco terrorist.

    Research my a@@

  • I hope so too.

  • Sure... and for Japan it is importend that so less krilleaters are left as possible? So with more krill there will be less algues und with less algues there will be more carbon dioxide.... how clever that japanese whalers and whalingsupporters are....

  • He is a legend.

  • The ICR supports the rights of people to peacefully protest. However, it has been clearly demonstrated over years that the actions of Sea Shepherd are far beyond peaceful. Over the 2007/2008 research season in the Antarctic, the ICR was required to defend its research vessels against increasingly violent attacks, so we hired a sniper...

  • Good job.
