  • YOUR QUESTIONS...CAROL VORDERMAN WRITTEN

  • MODEL usb MUSIC

    ADAM SANDLER CV PLS

  • Let me start by saying good lesson. You keep your instructions simple so even I can understand it and follow you ;) But to perfect this lesson, you need a better camera and maybe put some numbers on the screen, so it will be eayser to see what exactly your doin. And for us to put it on pause and copy that, Greetings from Denmark, Europe :)

  • Nice Job

  • Excelent quality.

  • very cool very simple Great job, I've been playing for years and this helps me alot. For me its K I S S =Keep it Simple Stupid! wORKS FOR ME WHEN DOING COVERS!!

  • at the end of the riff is better to pick 3rd and 4th (GandD) together and let them ring together allowing a little distortion to make it more "juicy"... anyway this is the first almost accurate lesson on how to play a doors song i see. I don't know why but anytime someone tries to play a doors song on guitar he totally miss it! noone get it the proper way. I'm going to start a "how-to-play-doors-song-on-guitar-exactly- the-same-way-robby-krieger-did channel"... stay tuned

  • @ghostdog7575 That's how I play it too. I simplified the riff for this lesson. This example is really to demonstrate how to use pentatonic scale patterns on the guitar. It's a supplement to my guitar theory book and DVDs.

  • Thank you. Great lesson, quick and Simple!

  • What does that word mean ?? riff ??

  • @realjuvelive Good question. Go to Google and search - Rock's greatest riffs: The memorable ones grab you and pull you into a song

  • After listening to your podcasts last week I went ahead and ordered your fretboard theory book. You seem to have a special gift for explaining complex things in a manner that makes sense.

  • thnx. the doors rule and jim morrison was a god among men.

  • i know now!!!!!

  • Isn't that the blues scale? E-G-A-B flat-B-D-E your right by saying that the the B flat is a passing tone but only if you are using a pentatonic scale.

  • Thanks for the tips. Terrific.

  • his fingers look paper thin

  • Best Lesson I've seen for tutorials for Blues guitar !

Keep up the good work :)

    and thanks :D

  • Thanks bro, i'm learning. =p

  • Wow this is cool

  • Guitar, music and theory should not be in the same sentence as Tab...

  • great lesson

  • Nice job on such a great Doors and of course Robby Kriegar song! Nice close up and vocal presentation!! You rock man!!! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  • you are talented

  • Wow, if you need to practice rolling (moving between neighboring strings on the same fret) try some of these licks in another key

  • thank you so much

  • I mean the 2nd fret

  • Play the E as a two note chord using the 5th string on the 3rd fret. It sounds much fuller.

  • This is great, i love it ! thanks.

  • Сыграем!

  • cé pas tui qui joue

  • cool m8 help alot thanks how about 5to1?

  • What amp effect (or software setting) do you use to obtain that particular sound ?

  • i suck at guitar

  • try harder

  • Thanks a lot! :)

  • Great thank you very much!

  • What kind of tuning can I use for this song?

  • Standard tuning. Strings high pitch to low pitch EBGDAE. A=440

  • Thanks!

  • what does A=440 stand for?

  • A=440hz

  • its just the standard tuning buddy

  • i get that im just tryin to learn all the specifics so i want to know wut A=440 means and why? you know, like the music theory behind it.

  • 440 is the Hz, the specific frequency of which to tune a string to. with a tuner, you can set it to "standard tuning" where an "A" note equals 440 Hz. most pianos, guitars etc. tune to this frequency just as a standard to go by. hope that helps

  • you did thank you.

  • Super Video. Einmal anschauen, aufschriben, üben und schon sitzt es.

  • can anyone show me the solo to this song. please please.

  • everyone, try second position, hes playing it in the first

  • Are you sure you know where 2nd position is? You can play this in open position (which is where he is in the video - not 1st position) and you can play it in 5th position. Any other way and you'll just be making it harder than it needs to be.

  • this is X!! I was laying in bed thinking of a new riff I could learn, and i remembered when Normie R came over to my place in '69 with a transistor radio, and this was playing. I was all of 14yrs old. And now at 54, I'm gonna play it. Thanks to this guy....... Only got a good dreadnought acoustic but thats ok, tah mate.

  • kool man u are a great tutor ...a reall goood proffessor ..i must say .....when having a guitar in hand and still more cans of beer to finish ........kool love it ...learnt a lot

  • that's cool? :D yes, very cool ;)

  • are you using single overdrive on the amp?

  • Line 6 Flextone.

  • thanx

  • a very easy and cool song to play

  • this is the song me and my band are covering easy

  • Totaly rocking here, in a quiet kinda way.

I need an amp, and soon.

    Love the Doors.

Will study the life out of that Penatatonic Scale. Whoa...

  • great! thanks =) long live the doors =)

  • amen~

  • great for beginners.....hell watching people play it a zillion times still helps me

  • I would like to see another cam angle...like from the visor of you'r cap. seems like the best way to visualize what one should see when they play...If possible anyway. Thanks for do'n this for us. J.

  • Good point. I've tried to record from that angle. It was a pain in the butt so I gave up on it. Maybe someday I'll try it again.

  • Ya gotta know all the stupid fucks posting negative comments prob don't even own a guitar....this is one of my favorite songs and you did a very good job...thanks

  • I have to agree with gypsyroseboxer. You did a great job explaining how to play this song.

  • man someone is trying to help as free of cost some MF are jealous!! :) damn KKK ppl...

  • not very good at mutting and would like some pointers on how to do it i have really big fingers

  • one question, i use my palm to mute the E string instead of my left hand, you think it matters if i do it that way, or will i run into problems further on down the road? thanks nice lesson.

  • Muting is done with a combination of the left and right hands. Do whatever works.

  • Bello!!! SEmplicemente semplicissimo!!!!! :-)

  • killer!

  • gracias...... muy practico...

  • inquebravel, you got it backwards

  • if you knew anything about guitar youd know that the high strings start as string one, then as you go up the strings it goes 1E, 2B, 3G, 4D, 5A, 6E

  • LOL at the complete n00b. This lesson was great. i was wondering why I couldn't get it to sound like the record. I was playing a tab that had me hitting the notes at the fifth and seventh frets instead of playing them open. This sounds much better. Thanks.

  • Very good and easy, thanks
