Washing my king size comforter

i have a new wave touch, each cycle, right when i push start, the washer activates the drain for a few seconds before filling with water, does yours do that to? Thanks!

@warrenkeller Yes, this is normal. The purpose is to remove standing water from the sump/pump area before washing a new load of laundry.
