Shugden was no issue until His Holiness made it one. If His Holiness the Dalai Lama can understand this then he should lift the ban and stop the division in the dharma communities worldwide.

"He came from remote area of the howling mountainous Himalayan Region LO with a great determination to study prcious monastic curruculum sutra and tantra in Shar Gaden. His parents has a small feild near their small home which produces little corps for daily foods and mostly depend on it. I came across this article of how HH Penor Rinpoche was unbiased and sympathetic towards Dorje Shugden monks due to the ban and he opened up Namdroling for these monks to get supplies. It really is inspiring and uplifting to read this article... bit [.] ly [/] cbARTJ

Yup, the monasteries are realising that the Internet holds infinite possibilities of spreading Dorje Shugden all over the world. There are a lot of people out there who view Dorje Shugden rather badly right now but at least they have heard of it. It is our work to change their view of Dorje Shugden so they practice and receive his tremendous benefits.

Five years since leaving the cult, and I still haven't been able to put together a modicum of daily practice. I know the NKT does not have ownership over the Dharma, but I find it a lot harder to practice without the support. I find it a lot harder to practice without the benefit of receiving teachings. There is nothing in my area for meditation centers OTHER THAN THE FREAKIN' NKT! They're everywhere, in disguise. All the websites of their local centers are like "meditationin______ dot orrg."

Of course, even if the ban existed--which anyone who's attended HHDL's teachings knows it does not--what would it matter?

The one-and-only "Shugden lama" teaches that HHDL is a "liar and a hypocrite"--then they say "don't attend HHDL's teachings," then finally they make up a story about how "Shugden practitioners are banned from HHDL's teachings."

Sounds like a story made up to keep unwitting western NKT converts from discovering the truth--that there is no ban.

It should be made clear that Shugen worship itself violates religious freedom, because Shugden does not allow followers to practice other schools than the "pure Gelug school". Those who practice other schools "mix the pure doctrine" and will be killed for that "crime" by the deity Dorje Shugden, or they will at least be punished by a terrible sickness and finally die a horrible death.

I read that this monastery was built solely to preserve the holy teachings of Je Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden from dorjeshugden(dot)com.

@harrynephew definitely they would be preserving the tradition of Je Tsongkhapa. they are continuing to study all the great texts of that lineage, including the practices the lamrim etc.

It's interesting because even Gaden monastery continues to study the texts of Panchen Sonam Drakpa who is a previous incarnation of Dorje Shugden, and who was renowned for preserving and propagating the lineage of Tsongkhapa.

Such monasteries reflect the amazing popularity of Dorje Shugden amongst the monastic circle. If so many Sangha members practice Dorje Shugden, can he be so wrong? What happened? The Gurus are wrong? Pabongka Rinpoche made a mistake? Trijang Rinpoche propitiated the wrong being?

May there be a sea of Yellow Hats! I love watching these videos. These monks really took a stand in what they believe in. I am sure there did wonder if they will be successful. From what I read, Dorje Shugden said to them that if your motivation to move out of Gaden Shartse is for Buddha Dharma to grow, and NO other reasons, then you will be successful! Wow.
