Looks to me like he may have been "hurt". There are clutches on his motors that will pop when too much force is applied. Try holding the black button for 10sec. Wait for it to go into neutral pose. Turn it off. Torque upward on the tail to reposition it. Power it back on.
Thanks for the suggestion, BaurMECH. I did what you instructed, but it doesn't seem to have resolved the issue. My Pleo is definitely raising his tail more during the next battery, but it still spends most of the time down.
maybe its just low battery if not then the tails destroyed

As cute as it is, I can see how it could get old really fast. Think I'd just use it for Dec 24 & 25 and then get rid of the program. LOL.

Yes, he is making bell sounds. The program includes non-Pleo sounds as well as Pleo singing in his own "voice".
It is indeed a fun program, but it does get old pretty quick :)

the pleo uses metal wires to move the tail. the connection is loose, my friends did that too so they took him back and replaced him
