It depends on the family, but you're right. White families tend to not be disciplined. For example, when I was younger I would go to my white friends' houses, and they would tell their mom stuff like "Be quiet!", or worse like "Shut the fuck up and make me a pizza!". But, I've never had one of my black friends do that ever. In general, white families don't beat their kids either. I always got beat, and I'm white, but I think I was more of an exception. They also just don't respect their parents.
I'm from Alabama, kids that did this kind of shit weren't southerners normally. I grew up in Huntsville and Birmingham, and there are a lot of different kinds of people in those two cities. It also depends on generation. I'm a young guy, so I was part of that Generation Y shit that's going on. If you're 35+, then you probably weren't apart of that. But trust me, it exists. A lot of parents are pushovers now a days.
