  • bravo!!!

  • Lovely singing, but the cape swirling, moustache-twirling villains just don't work well in this day and age.

  • @nicksum29 That's all a matter of opinion.

  • wHERE IS THIS PERFORMANCE?

  • Eladó az Egész Világ!

  • that is a badass cape... i want one! everything is awesome!!!!!!

  • Very deep baritone voice. He certainly pulled off the challenge with flair and style. Tres bien, e une 'Le veau d'or' magnifique!

  • @witness124 it's therefore he is bass, not baritone.

  • @DukefromMantova No....I mean that he is a bass-baritone. And I think that his higher range seemed to be too flexible for a bass

  • His voice is INCREDIBLE! It's so rich and full.

  • Nice Gothic Revival furniture too!

  • great costume

  • zseniális!

  • Cool ! I'm going to see this opera in 2h !!!!!!! :D guaranteed joy!

  • Real Mephistopheles! Zasas nasatanada zasas!!!

  • anyone knows where i can download the opera? any version will do.

  • saw paata burchuladze as mephistopheles...

wonderful , better than this one for my opinion

  • Amazing. Just saw it yesterday when it finally came to Helsinki.

Marie Fajtová as Marguerita. Can't even find the words. She was devine.

  • Vincent Price wants his set back.

    Nice voice though!

  • @Falstaff85 LOL!!

  • My favourite opera, very good voice, thanks for the clip

  • Very nice! I love Faust! My mom took me to see this opera when I was 14 years old and I feel in love with opera!

    Where was this performance?

    What year?

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Holy SHIT, he's INCREDIBLE! Good lord!

  • it is best not to use the word Holy and shit in the same sentence.

  • does anybody know the year of this performance?

  • Bravo! Such an incredible baritone voice...... This performance by all on stage is incredible! Thank you for sharing.....

  • che bravo basso!

  • Arm work looks fake!

    I preffer less "acting" here.

  • Perhaps the stage director sought some sort of special (cinematographic) effect but the way it is, it looks like a school play.

  • I agree, if you are near Chicago before december you should catch their lyric opera's revival of this opera, everything is right about it.

  • this cat can sing WOW.. perfect example of basso cantante!

  • LOL, you're mean!

  • so good mephistopheles

Bravo monsieur Alexei Tikhomirov !

  • He sings quite well, but the chorus is weak.

  • No está mal!

  • He looks like a devil indeed.

  • Love the cape, not a fan of how the director/performer uses it ALL THE TIME EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. I also like the instrument on display here... too bad he doesn't seem to understand a word he's singing. Learn French before you sing in it, please.

  • Eladó az egész a világ. Aranyborjú fennen trónol, Minden őelőtte hódol, Mindenki hitvány pénzt imád Itt a kurta földi pályán Érte koldus és király Fékevesztett táncot jár Áll a hajsza, áll a bál a pénz körül, Járja koldus és király. A Sátán örül Eladó az erény s a bűn, Érte küzd a test, a szellem, Őhozzá visz minden út, Érte dúlnak háborúk S harcok: ember, ember ellen....

  • cape suxors

  • Csodálatos előadás!

    Ilyen (is) az élet !!!

  • What's with the damn cape?

  • Parece Tin Tan.

  • En "El Rey del Barrio", quise decir.

  • I love this opera so much :)

  • can anyone tell me what language he's singing in? i know most operas are in italian, but the names threw me off...

    :] coolness, btw

  • french

  • Vous êtes fou!!

  • You sing good, gospodin; now LOSE THE CAPE.

    Bela Lugosi never sang.

  • so and so...

  • vaya mierda!!!what a sheet!!!! you are "in gola"

  • Great!

  • He's a bass, he's not used to acting. Basses walk on stage, grumble, rumble, walk off stage. Great singing.

  • haha, true dat

  • Very enjoyable, but he seems to have studied at the Lou Diamond Philips Academy of Drama...

  • LOL! So true...

  • He's so Magneto about it! AWESOMENESS!

  • I love this song. It's so...burly.

  • She does teach them something!

  • Thanks this is a good performance. Listen for an air you should recognjze...hink... Christmas carol.

  • i love the cape
