Made with Adobe After Effects and Lightwave 3D.... I am currently learning 2D & 3D compositing in Fusion (and a bit of Nuke) so hopefully I can make things even better. Also learning a few other programs as well while I am working so I hope to transfer what I have learned there into this project.
How did you make the images for this video I would really like to know can you provide a step by step process I'm wanting to do computer animation but am unsure how to go about it for what kind of software that would be needed. Hopefully the software is not expensive I'm on a budget!
@WaltKaladeen You too? Where did you stay? I was at one of the mining complexes for a while, but it got really boring, so went dune-hopping for a few months with some Fremen mates. Great time, drinking, hooking up with Fremen babes, sand-surfing and, of course, tripping our tits off on Spice - my eyes got so blue-on-blue! I tell you, nothing like chewing on a fat Spice doobie, listening to Marley. I'm heading back again soon - if you're around, wanna meet up for a drink and a tab of Melange?
Would it be possible for you to upload the original animation for comparison? I can only find still shots of the four planets, which really doesn't do the update justice.

Thanks dektarium - actually, I did show some of My stuff to the 3rd Stage Edition folks and PhineusBG seemed to like what he saw!...
Note, I just redid the start of it and fixed the guild navigator logo... might upload it later when I get more done!

You should do an Avatar/Dune trailer parody since Avatar is similar to Dune. You can use footage from this movie set to Avatar's trailer audio
