  • One big CROCK OF B.S. that Big Drama was disqualified from the win in this race. There was one slight bump, which did not impede either horses stride, with a more than ample amount of time for This One's for Phil to still beat Big Drama, if he was really capable of doing it. The small bump that This One's for Phil got from Big Drama at the top of the stretch is not why This One's for Phil lost this race, AT ALL. He flatly got outrun by Big Drama on this day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A track record!!!!

  • i feel bad for bg drama

  • no surrender in this horse should set up a closer in the preakness

  • A credible long shot in the Preakness, I agree. However if it comes down to it this horse can not hold off Mine That Bird's blazing finishes. MTB will win the Triple Crown.

  • my pick for the Preakness

  • The jockey's whip got caught in his reins, that's why the horse veered to the right and bumped the horse. He's gonna kick some ass next weekend!!

  • any proof of that? I did not get a visual.

  • -- I agree with Ruffian4Ever. I've seen worse bumps getting on and off the subway. Big Drama wasn't letting him by. No way. We'll find out how souped the track was that day when he goes in the Met Mile.

  • I really like Big Drama in the derby should be a decent price , I dont here the experts talking about him much ,but he,s on there tickets , I know the track was really fast that day , He really" Dug In " Had not been out in over three months

  • Is he even going in the derby? A 7F horse? What's his graded earnings?

  • That DQ was ridiculous. There was no way that last bump cost This Ones for Phil the race, and the one at the top was barely a bump. Those stewards were dillusional.

  • Big Drama inferfered with This Ones For Phil and probably cost him the race, that's why he got disqualified. He bumped him twice, once at the top of the stretch, and once closer to the wire.

  • The Swale is 7 furlongs, not 6.5

The decision to take down BB to 2nd was BS and was the jockey's fault for taking down on that rail (dead area) and hitting the horse twice with a left handed whip. Coa blew it, but horses are NOT supposed to be dq'd for bumping.

Only if the other horse is sure to win, which was not the case here. He was not getting by BD.

    The track record stands, regardless.

  • He got disqualified by the stewards.
