Sucks they're gone but at least we had them unlike so many others that can only wonder what we're talking about. Check out the film Touched from 1982, filmed in Wildwood. Decent flick with several boardwalk, beach and just off boardwalk street scenes. It's on YouTube but worth tracking down for a full sit down view, but only available used on VHS - no DVD yet.
I also miss Castle Dracula, I went through it Aug 1995, June 1996, and June 1998. I also rode the Dungeon boat ride below in 1996 and 1998. I haven't been to Wildwood since 1998.
I loved Hunt's Pier and I'm sad that it's basically all gone now, except the pier itself and the newer buildings. I was there between 1980-1983, and I returned Aug 1995 when Hunt's was half shut, and June 1996 when it reopened as Dinosaur Beach with the Golden Nugget Mine, Log Flume, Rapids restored and the new Escape from Dinosaur Beach dark ride (now Morey's Maintenance building) which was built upon where the Whacky Shack dark ride was until early 1996, it was built 1964 by Bill Tracy.
OMG I loved the motor cycles as a kid! Also the boats! I was probably the same age you were when this were taken.
