when i play the fingerpicking i just use all my fingers and when i solo i just use my index fingernail, i'm just too used to that ,  though i've tried i can't do it with a pick

Hey thanks a lot Brian. Hey buddy I was curious. Which guitar player do you think has/had more pure skill or country/rockabilly chops.....James Burton or Scotty Moore? I have always been a bigger burton fan my self but I sure cant take anything from scotty.

@thankyougermany Apparently look for back issues of "Guitar Techniques" magazine. Or show this to an experienced teacher ie pay for a couple of jazz lessons. Just noticed the pickups. Like Supertons or something. Very hot.

Just got this link from going to Mr.Setzer site to have a look at his comments from the BSO show performed Friday at the MTL Jazz Festival, Where I got the chance to attend. As he wrote from the road, the MTL response overwhelmed him, I too was completely overwhelmed. What a great guy and awesome artist. He is my guitar mentor. I would like to meet someday, play my Gretsch guitar + have a beer. I'm greatful to learn from him, a priviledge.

This is outstanding. It sounds silly, but one of the things that separates a Pro from an amateur guitarist is how comfortable they are with using their pinky finger. Check it out! Look at how easy it is for him to fret with it. You can't be afraid of using your pinky. That's awesome =) course, I'm weird and admire things like that =)
