Wow! What an absolutely beautiful state funeral. Now THAT'S what a state funeral should look like! My thanks to all who participated and made it look so absolutely beautiful. My thanks also to Pvt Yates for his service to our country, and my deepest condolences to his family members.
i live in Winnsboro. i saw the flags along side the road. i thought they were awsome. i remember thinking how beautiful they were. my grandkids and i went back to the beginning of the flags and drove 7 miles down fm 312 seeing the flags on both sides. i did not know then what their pupose was. now that i know their reason, makes them that more beautiful. thank you Darren for what you did for us. god bless. thanks from Sherry McAlexander
Though i do not know you i want to thank you for your loyalty to our nation. I am so thankful to live in such a wonderful community that respects and appreciates our men and women of war.

Rest In Peace Pvt Yates. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. "No man have a better gift to give, than to lay down his life for his friends."
""I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavment, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom." Amen
I am so very sorry for your loss. I am a Ret Army wife, my husband did 2 tours in Nam. Since the Iraq war it seems alot of our Nam vets are reliving a very sad time. I dont think the war ever ends for our vets or there families. Know that you are in my prayers, as are all of our men and women that are serving, and there families.
