@lucylovingmusic There is so much that the writers can write about. The Bay and Emmett relationship brings a lot of story material to the show due to the fact that one of them is hearing and one of them is deaf. A whole lot of people will agree with me when I say that the Daphne and Emmett's romantic relationship won't last for very long. The writers will run out of story ideas and the audiences will quickly get bored of their relationship.

@lucylovingmusic Yes I agree. When it comes to writing a show, the writers should not rush the story line what so ever. What makes watching a T.V show better than watching a movie, is the fact that the audience has a deeper understand of who the characters are. The audience gets to see their complete story unfold. I just thought it was kind of funny that you said that they were only 16 or 17 yrs. Old, as if to say they were too young to have kids so there for they won't have kids at a young age.

@2011kristene Oh, I was the one who said that. I didn't mean that they are physically incapable of having children but that they are emotionally not ready. They are both trying to find out who they are, find love, and find a place in the world. To raise children, you have have to be prepared to put your life on hold; you have to be able to show complete selflessness. I don't think either Bay or Emmett is incapable of that, but I also don't think they are ready. They should experience life first.

@2011kristene not saying it does; I am saying that it wouldn't make since for a show to have everything happen in one season. There's other stuff for them explore storyline goes...love triangle, college, breaking up & getting back together...etc.

@2011kristene It doesn't, but being the next stars of "16 and Pregnant" isn't what I want for Bay and Emmett.

@IndianLadka9 LOL. You're probably not alone on that sentiment. I am sure a lot of Ebay fans would love that to happen...it may even happen for a storyline.

It could show insight on what its like to raise a child that's deaf (Bay). It can even be the other way around - a hearing child w/deaf parent(Emmett).

Either way it'll be work and test their relationship. But it will likely happen in the far future after the love triangle is played out...season 3 maybe...anyone? LOL : )

awwwww! it would be so cute for them to have a baby and it would be interesting to watch Emmett communicating with their kid. I can't believe I am dreaming about it
