Looking good - I'm loving how in-depth the combat goes and how much choice you seem to have! Condemning this, based on one-or-two similar mechanics to GOW (which almost every game has nowadays) is short-sighted.

since when did GoW ever have a dog sidekick mechanic, and since when did GoW ever have a deeper close combat mechanic, and when did the cover ever disintegrate when shot at. when did gow have a focus mode. when did gow have a disarm mechanic. a 3rd person shooter doesnt make it a GoW "like" game.
