My Westie (Tommy) runs down the hall on a polished floor and often forgets there's steps at the end and goes into a slide and does a scramble when he realises he's forgotten. Most lovable dog we've had ... but certainly not the smartest!
Better cut a lot of cardboard and put on floor for them not to slide on slippery tiles like that. They can tear a tendon or muscle falling a lot like that. Think. would you like a baby to do that?
